Interesting Interplay of Characters

The old veteran, at the end of his days, is confronted by the up-and-coming new kid on the block who, although he admires the skills his older counterpart once displayed, has come to terminate his time at the top.

Now, if only the issue had not revolved around who is the better killer, I would have been more engaged. Developing one's skills in extermination of others of your species just doesn't appear to me to be all that significant a skill worth developing. Unless, of course, your a serviceman in Putin's Russian army.
