First off, Tom Hiddelston is the best he's been in this universe. This episode alone is maybe one of his best performances to date. These past couple of episodes have sort of re-established him as the main character, and in some ways made the opening episodes better.
Owen Wilson is likewise very good! I've really grown to like his acting in this series. It's good seeing him doing something out of the norm again.
But this isn't just a great MCU series, it's a great series in general. A very fascinating concept that feels super fresh and feels like it actually has really high stakes. My only hope is that the finale this week doesn't play things too safe. I'm excited, because I still don't know how this season is going to end, but the way things ended here has me just a little worried. The season has been excellent so far though so maybe I need not worry.
It's also just exceptionally directed. It doesn't at all feel like an MCU property. Non-Marvel aficionados would probably enjoy this as well.
Also, Orobouros is one of the best mcu characters in recent memory.
Some truly haunting imagery here as well. Such an unpredictable episode. It feels good to watch a marvel property with high stakes that isn't predictable.

Where to start with this episode incredible from start to finish. I haven't felt this sense of fearful and uneasiness high stakes since that of infinity war and endgame. Loki has done nothing but intrigued me from the first episode till now. This episode just proves how wrong you can be about the necessarity of a series about loki.
The story for this episode is emotional, frustrating and physiologically moving. My first thoughts of loki season 2 were "does there need to be a season 2" but after finishing this episode I am exhilarated for the season finale and quite honesty it can't come soon enough.
The direction this whole series has taken has been nothing but amazing from episode 1 of the first season to this episode, the character they have created from nothing more then a villainous side actor to the main hero of his own story.
My honest review of why I gave this episode a 10 is nothing more then nowadays It can be difficult to feel excitement or intrigue for a series as most people say "quantity over quality" but for loki it is different and I hope I can say that it was nothing more then incredible come episode 6 (the season finale)
Thank you for taking the time to read my review hopefully see you in the season finale...

I loved this episode most of all so far. Because for once we actually got an episode that was more character driven, by Loki who the Loki series is about( or at least should be). I think my biggest problem with the whole Loki series I general was that really. I didn't mind when they brought in sylvie because she is a Loki, but I had quite the issue with Loki's whole story having to be set aside in order to prop up Kang as the next big bad. This season didn't complicate the whole Multiverse/time travel thing too much so even if you don't like sci-fi timey wimey stuff you'll get it. We actually got to see how people in these timelines live and how scared and shocked they were to see their reality disappear. Honestly what a great episode 👏 and Tom Hiddleston deserves his Emmy for his performance as Loki. He's always brought life to Loki , but in this episode in particular he was flexing his acting muscles like crazy. The rest of this cast including Ke Huy Quan, Owen Wilson, Wumni Mosaku, Sophia di Martino and Eugene Cordero were incredible as per usual. Not to mention Loki season 1 and 2 have been consistently visually appealing and cinematic. Moreover the score is always on point thanks to the genuis of Natelie Holt. You can tell a lot of effort was put in this project and that makes me happy overall. Can't wait for the finale.
This episode understandably starts somewhat slow and this is good, it needed to. It really feels like all the branches came together here over the two seasons really. In fact, it feels like this show is coming to a conclusion which would be a shame, it has been consistently good to epic.
This episode has so many great moments, really funny ones too. It feels like this is the result when you get some great actors involved and give them a fun script to work with, they bounce off each other so well.
It definitely felt like a set up for the finale but it was done in a really fun way. I am really looking forward to the last episode and seeing where all of this comes to a head now that Loki has basically levelled up. If he isn't killed off, he might well become very important moving forward because of what he can now do.

I love this show. Definitely the best MCU series and it never loses its quality. CGI, theme musics, script, directing, acting... they are all amazing and Tom Hiddleston carry the MARVEL cinematic universe. The only thing I can say for this episode is that it has the atmosphere of Infinity War. The final episode will be Endgame and Loki will most likely be God of Stories or Loki who remains. This is extremely exciting because this character is definitely wasted in terms of power. Lastly He's not alone anymore, he experienced true loss, time and time again. Now he knows that caring for someone else is not weakness, it's a strength, and that's when he becomes truly powerful. BEST CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.
