This unlike the last episode which was more like a coming back to reality episode from Annie's perspective, was a good set-up episode for what's to come. And judging by how this episode was, what's to come will be quite intense.
Excellent scenes like: Connie and Armin, the reunion of the former scouts team and the scene between Floch and Jean as well as the last scene were all superbly done. Yes it may have been a bit rushed, but I don't really have a problem with that at this point in the show where the world's fate is at stake. There's also useless to say that the ending prepared the way for a dramatic end of Part 2 of the Final Season, because that is already an understatement by AoT standards.
All in all, good episode, decent set-up, good character interactions, interesting twists also, although slightly rushed, into a good way to prepare what's to come. 10/10.

Oh my god, what are you people even saying? Were we even watching the same show? If you judge AOT with one episode without even considering what happens in the next one, then you might as well stop it. The next episode is the one that stipulates how hard it is for them to join forces with each other. It's not simple, As a manga reader, without spoiling, I can tell you that the upcoming episodes will give you intense reminiscent vibes. The Ragako scene was intense. Been waiting so long for the, "Let's go save the world". Why do people hate that scene? Do you not have common sense? The scouts have always been one to consider putting their lives to save "humanity". It doesn't matter even if they are enemies. Even inside the walls, they had a lot of enemies. Did they kill all of them? Do you know how ridiculous it sounds if Connie were to tell them, "let's not save the world"? The soundtracks were typically astonishing. Jean's words at the lake hits hard. AOT, what a ride this has been. Thank you Isayama. I don't wanna die without witnessing 'The Rumbling' chapter animated. The best chapter of anything I've ever read. There are some people genuinely hating AOT and even reviewing every episodes with toxicity and toxic review titles. Grow up.
The visuals were great, great animation as always, Hange and Levi, I love Hange, want more of her, the tension between the yeagerists, but this episode had a lot of cringy and weird moments. Pacing was alright, Annie coming which was good. The Mikasa and Louise scene. Then Annie shows up and all of a sudden there's comedy, do they not realize she literally killed many of their friends and soldiers? The meetup between Armin, Annie and Connie is a bit too convenient. Idk, it's just a strange change of tone. Most of the episode wasn't related to the plot, just some subplot with Connie which got resolved hella fast. Apparently the next episode fixes the issues with this episode so good.
Isayama knows how to write politics well and it shows with Floch's speech! It dove deep into why the Marley volunteers decided to help paradise and their opposition to the rumbling despite working together. Highlighting the extremism by the Yeagerists, they begin to resemble the oppressive Eldians from 2000 years ago and the oppressive Marleyans that the volunteers escaped from.
The alliance between the Marley soldiers may come off as a little too sudden and fast for this episode but to anime only's, many conflicts will be explored in the next episode a little better as the preview shows the scouts and the Marleyans don't completely trust each other yet.
The "save the world" comment from Connie came off too strong and optimistic for this point in the story and could have been done better. Despite its minor flaws, this episode was great and paints a clearer picture of the direction this show is going.

Everything involving Connie was very rushed, and I was hoping they'd extend it in the adaptation but I expected them not to. Outside of Connie, everything in this episode was good. Also the ending scene where Connie says "to save the world🤓" was really goofy in the manga and it was slightly better here.
