The manga readers kept on saying that this episode gonna be trash and cringy which made me worried and not hyped, but after watching it i can say don't ever listen to the manga readers. It was actually a very good episode, maybe a little but rushed, but there was nothing cringy or bad. Whoever hate on it are mostly a fan of the genocide, but you need to understand that these characters never wanted to kill PEOPLE to get freedom, they are different from the Yeagerist who are killing anyone who goes against them. Plus, i freaking miss Eren and can't wait to see him.
Awesome episode with even greater drawing. This episode sets up the rest of this show and now we know whats the common goal for our 2 groups. Group A with Eren Jeager and the Jeagers with the plan to destroy everything outside Paradise. Group B with Levi, Mikasa, Armin and a hole lot of heroes from AOT previous season to stop Eren and save the world!
PS: i dont know if its a bit obvious but i think the whole Gabi-Falco situation reminds me of Eren and Mikasa but with reverse gender rules? Idk but its good and it seems they're going to be the hero characters in the end of the show.

This unlike the last episode which was more like a coming back to reality episode from Annie's perspective, was a good set-up episode for what's to come. And judging by how this episode was, what's to come will be quite intense.
Excellent scenes like: Connie and Armin, the reunion of the former scouts team and the scene between Floch and Jean as well as the last scene were all superbly done. Yes it may have been a bit rushed, but I don't really have a problem with that at this point in the show where the world's fate is at stake. There's also useless to say that the ending prepared the way for a dramatic end of Part 2 of the Final Season, because that is already an understatement by AoT standards.
All in all, good episode, decent set-up, good character interactions, interesting twists also, although slightly rushed, into a good way to prepare what's to come. 10/10.

Oh my god, what are you people even saying? Were we even watching the same show? If you judge AOT with one episode without even considering what happens in the next one, then you might as well stop it. The next episode is the one that stipulates how hard it is for them to join forces with each other. It's not simple, As a manga reader, without spoiling, I can tell you that the upcoming episodes will give you intense reminiscent vibes. The Ragako scene was intense. Been waiting so long for the, "Let's go save the world". Why do people hate that scene? Do you not have common sense? The scouts have always been one to consider putting their lives to save "humanity". It doesn't matter even if they are enemies. Even inside the walls, they had a lot of enemies. Did they kill all of them? Do you know how ridiculous it sounds if Connie were to tell them, "let's not save the world"? The soundtracks were typically astonishing. Jean's words at the lake hits hard. AOT, what a ride this has been. Thank you Isayama. I don't wanna die without witnessing 'The Rumbling' chapter animated. The best chapter of anything I've ever read. There are some people genuinely hating AOT and even reviewing every episodes with toxicity and toxic review titles. Grow up.
Everything involving Connie was very rushed, and I was hoping they'd extend it in the adaptation but I expected them not to. Outside of Connie, everything in this episode was good. Also the ending scene where Connie says "to save the world🤓" was really goofy in the manga and it was slightly better here.
