I didn't realize I was watching the finale. But half way through the episode the stories felt crammed and suddenly it was over. Poor editing. But I'm glad everyone has a happy ending. I really hope there is a season 3. Jean Smart is such a treasure.
S1 was one of the funniest comedy series for years, quick, fast lines delivered at a blinding pace, really funny, exceptionally well acted and written.
S2 is good with flashes of that comedy but with more drama added in, plus a good dose of the modern trend to throw Lesbian themes and sub plots into a story at any cost. While it was still good it lacked the punch of S1, if it goes to S3 it may be running the risk if dragging out the original premise too far.

Such a great ending episode! I cried. I laughed. And I wish it could be way longer!
It's been a while since I constantly anticipating a show to drop each weeks. The writing and acting for this show is just incredible! Bravo for two great seasons! Can't wait for the third one!

One the most satisfying finales. I fell in love with this show from episode one and it's mostly thanks to Jean Smart's fantastic performance. She brought Deborah's character to life in ways that I personally won't forget despite the show being over, for now....
I am not sure whether they're planning for a 3rd season, but if they can put out another season as strong as this one I'd be beside myself.
Sadly, all loose ends are tied up in a nice little bow, as is done in a great series finale. DV got what she desired & worked for. I can't imagine a way forward, but I do hope HBO surprises me. Amazing series!

Jimmy: [exasperated] No, your bikini wax is not a company write-off.
Kayla: It was just the back.
Jimmy: Kayla...
Kayla: [interrupting] Okay, fine, but my trainer said that anything can be a write-off if you just think about business while it's happening.
Jimmy: That is absolutely not true. You need to fire that person.
Kayla: No way. She's a write-off.
