Cassian steals the TIE Advanded and pilots the ship without wearing a helmet. TIE Pilots wear breathing apparatus & pressurized suits because all TIEs are not pressurized, the Empire did not value pilots.
However, in the third episode, it is shown that the ship is able to carry passengers, even having seating for them, and is, therefore, pressurized.
