Sic Semper Systema

The first two episodes showcased that this show is clearly two different shows being put together and for me it worked for the most part. However this episode the seams are very very clear.

There's a lot of clashing elements here that are thematically disconnected and it really took me out of it. Several characters and scenes in this episode are so out of place or just unnecessary to focus on. There's also a character who appears that made me smile for sure but his inclusion is so out of the blue and does not contribute to what is already going on.

I really really hope the melding of these two different creative visions are more smooth from this point forward.

What a Great episode its been 3 episode we didn't see him in suit but still show to going damn great court scene and client problem with system and Fisk is going hard and he is not showing anger is more dangerous. Matt is also controlling his rage for 1 years. But City needs a hero now as a know Frank and Matt is going to team up. I can sense the intensity of the show in the next upcoming episodes. As per the trailer scene. We haven't seen him fighting in red mask. Muse is draining blood is soo scary. Ava alaya as new White Tiger.woow I'm so curious to watch next 2 episode but have to wait for 1 week.

Seriously, 4 episodes in and still no Daredevil in the flippin Daredevil show. They should have just called this "Hell's Kitchen Law" or "Matt Murdock attorney at Law" because this is a flipping JOKE.

First off, anyone who gave this episode better than a 7 is a shill and probably on Disney's payroll. Everyone who knows what went on behind the scenes knows this show was already in production and was so bad that Jon Bernthal refused to do the show and walked off until they fixed the show.

So from what rumors escaped, the show WAS going to focus on the courtroom, which the writers clearly have NO idea how to write given how the most BASIC of courtroom procedure was ignored in episode 3 where the prosecution was given closing arguments after the Defense. Even a child knows that the Defense always gets the last word in American courts. Sadly I feel that Disney had filmed so much they didn't want to throw it all away and they allowed much of the courtroom insanity to stay in the show. Hopefully things will get better, but right now this show is dying.

Though a downgrade from the last episode, this is still good. I love the dialogue between Frank and Matt, definitely made kingpin more interesting and complex which I love. Some of the therapy parts with him and his wife are not very entertaining, slow episode and not really much to say about it other than it being kinda bland. The last bits with Frank and Matt really save the episode for me. They dragged it too long, and this is definitely not an episode that should have been the second longest, but it's alright nonetheless. If I could give it a 6.5 I would. Excited for the rest of the series.

Where the episode falters is in its contribution to the overarching story. Fisk's ongoing political maneuvering is given significant attention, yet it remains frustratingly unclear what his ultimate goal is. While his struggles with bureaucracy. Rival gangs, and inner-circle betrayals add texture to the show's world, they don't necessarily push the main story forward in a meaningful way. This doesn't detract from the episode's immediate tension, but it does raise concerns about how the season is structuring its narrative payoff. That being said, "Sic Semper Systema" does manage to leave viewers with a sense of anticipation. The final moments introduce a chilling new threat, ensuring that intrigue remains high as the show inches toward bigger revelations. Additionally, hints at Matt's inevitable return to the Daredevil persona add another layer of promise. While the destination remains unclear, this episode at least ensures that the road ahead remains compelling.

"Sic Semper Systema" thrives in its character work and psychological conflicts, even if it doesn't do much heavy lifting in the grand scheme of the season. For those invested in the slow-brewing tension between Matt, Fisk, and Vanessa, there's plenty to appreciate here. However, viewers eager for more forward momentum may find themselves wondering when the season will finally pick up the pace.
