Who is okaying these overused slo-mo shots. How many times do fans need to express that making an entire fight slo-mo is something that nobody wants. I stg directors do not have any idea how to use this editing effect nowadays. I know I'm making a big deal out of it but there's no way I'm the only one who feels this way. I'll say it one more time... you can't just make something more dramatic by slowing down footage. That's called being sloppy.
I dable in recording every now and then and even someone with little experience, I can tell that shots like the ones in this episode are just not used correctly.

Great ending & setup for season two or should that be second part of season one because it was clear to me if not others this was always going to be the case rather than wrapping it all up in 9 episodes,
The characters "ALL" get their fair crack of the whip to move the story along which they do and it's setup brilliantly but honestly was expecting a surprise character to show up to help the intrigue for season two but turns out we didn't need it,
Fisk is king pin & Vincent D'onofrio smashes it perfectly in this ep more so than ever, gave me real Dark Knight Joker control vibes in this ep which is a brilliant thing, ROLL ON SEASON 2.

This episode impressed me as a well-crafted and thoughtfully planned introduction to the second season. It delivered a powerful installment where the characters appeared exactly as they should. Wilson Fisk was insanely brilliant-not just in this episode, but throughout the entire season.
Frank Castle, too, was introduced in exactly the right way. The relationship between him and Matt Murdock was one of the highlights for me-I absolutely loved it, deeply and passionately.
What made this episode even more special is that it gave the viewer the freedom to interpret who the hero and the villain truly are. The bloody scenes were intense and impactful. And that scene with Fisk... what was that?! Truly incredible.
I also deeply appreciated the rich dialogue between the characters, especially the connection and exchanges between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk. It added a powerful dramatic layer to the season.
I'm incredibly excited for the second season. I'll be waiting eagerly, hoping the show maintains this same level of excellence. I also hope Frank Castle gets more screen time, because he fits so naturally within Matt Murdock's world. They're truly great characters together.
Though his presence was limited this time, the final episode made up for it wonderfully-it gave me everything I had been missing. And let's not forget... I love you, Foggy! We wait with anticipation.(9.7/10)

Everyone who was able to see this episode early was hyping this thing up. Saying it was the best episode of the entire show and it will surprise you.
I did not get that whatsoever with this episode, I still enjoyed my time with it a lot and there's a lot of things I love! But it's nowhere near the best of the show.
My option, this is probably one of the weaker episodes of this entire season.
I can say the punisher was by far the best part, he's just like the character that he was before, he brings his graphic violence with him. And overall, it's just the exact same character!
I'm excited to see what season two has to bring, this episode had a lot to offer with the story and continuing on and wrapping up certain plot points. I'm interested in to where they want to go. I also need them to fix a lot of problems that I had with this season and this episode!

Frank is a total animal in this and i love it
seeing michael gandolfini becoming this character has been a ride and i love it. Newark did him dirty but he's really got the opportunity to show off his acting chops in this and i am so happy for him.
There were moments where i had my jaw on the floor.
I think marvel is really embracing the r rating and the violence and the truly violent nature of the characters like fisk and castle.
They even went a step ahead with fisk's violence and i loved it.
I also appreciated the deep conversations and the little banter between frank and matt.
Jon bernthal as the punisher is.... i have no words.
Also looking back i think the entire muse plotline was rather unnecessary.
This is a great set up for the second season.

- ErroresA free port is not outside the jurisdiction of New York state or the federal government when it comes to prosecuting crimes committed in the port. Matt says that activities like smuggling and gambling would be legal there; free ports are exempt from certain customs laws, import taxes and tariffs, but they are far from the lawless zones that they are made out to be. The tax exempt status and reduced customs inspections make certain crimes like smuggling easier to get away with, but they are by no means legal in a free port, and both the state and federal government have full jurisdiction to prosecute them.
