I think the most poignant part of this episode is the one in Paul's office where his daughter comes to visit. He knows he should tell her about the Parkinson's, but he is so fragile and can't do it. He wants their sympathy but he doesn't want to bother them with his problems, serious as they may be. The whole sex thing is a bit too much for me. Too much about its casualness. I agree with the reviewer that the two women delighting in their encounters is over the top. It diminishes some things that are both private and potentially dangerous. It also ignores the emotional realities of it. The whole thing with Jimmy and the kid is just kind of dumb.
On another note. I'm not prudish, but is anyone else getting tired of the perpetual use of the "F" word every five seconds. I am out in society and around teenagers, and while I hear that work occasionally, it seems that the movie and TV industry are so unimaginative, they can't script things in a bit more creative way. Alice, to me, is really tiresome, and she uses that word around her father and friends. Just a comment for what it's worth.
