Hi!
For me, Hands down best episode Bad Batch so far!
Really dark episode.. both in tone and theme's. The whole vibe was more realistic and more mature then other episodes.
The "new" animation style works really wel in this episode because it makes everything look even more gritty.
Leans into " Andor" by showing some of the inner workings of the empire.
In the end there is always a deskjockey to shove the soldiers around like pieces in a game.
Also a throwback to "Clone Wars' with familiar characters from it's history. I hope they can keep up this quality!
This show works so much better when it is less childish!

This episode deals with some important dilemmas that every single clone must deal with inside their head in one way or another, inhibitor chip or not.
The story itself is not complex but important as it shows the empire still struggle somewhat to get all the systems under control.
And the way it shows the different moral dilemmas and points of view is just brilliant. As with the first episodes of this season, the main characters dont have as much plot armor and the music is really good!
This made you remember back in CW when they showed some new sides of the seperatists and you realised they were actually the good guys, alas decieved by dooku.
I have very high hopes for the direction of this show!

This episode was great in every way. It felt like a clone wars episode. It was great, despite the nostalgia bias from clone wars. I believe that even those who haven't seen clone wars episodes would enjoy it. It's a chance to see how the clones felt about the change that has happened. Although it's not the first time, it's an interesting take on the theme with the characters they introduce. This episode was the best so far this season. It was a good story with many great scenes and interactions. Overall, I'm hopeful they will continue to follow this path and share more of the empire with characters we know.
This new episode (besides the first episode of season 1, and even then this holds it own) might be the best episode of the show. The character work done here for our two lead characters is done so well. I especially love how they handle a specific fan favorite character and his journey throughout this episode. The Empire is once again brutal in its tactics and it's a nice throughline to see the start of what becomes a truly corrupt state in Andor.
This episode is what drew me to the concept of this show. Clones trying to figure out their place in this Galaxy and that's exactly what I got here. If the team can keep this style up, this season will be a significant step up from season 1.
Also, I don't know what Kevin Kiner was on but it must have been the same thing as when he scored the season finale of the Clone Wars. The music in the episode, particularly the end of it, was so haunting and really drove home the message of the episode. Great stuff. One might even say Peak.

I was not a fan of episodes 1&2.
I watched this one with a deep worry of disappointment.
I was completely wrong, this episode is magnificent!
It focuses almost entirely on Crosshair, after being rescued on Kamino, he's been seemingly demoted.
He is teamed with Commander Cody to assassinate a separatist insurgent where he displays skills and teamwork that left my jaw hanging open.
This squad was so skilled and efficient it almost had me rooting for the Empire.
Battle scenes were fantastic but doubts are growing among the clones regarding Order 66.
This is Star Wars everyone, I can only hope we'll continue in this vein.
I LOVED IT!!!

¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaCody, Obi-Wan's commander during the Clone Wars, makes his first reappearance since the end of that conflict. Either he is no longer in command of the 212th, or that unit's deco has been changed, as Cody no longer sports its orange design on his armor, but rather a slightly altered version of the same pattern colored gray.
