I really Loved the series, Mukohda was such a sweet character and I loved his personality, Fel was funny and Sui calling him Uncle Fel is hilarious to me. And as for Season 2 I really hope. Mukohda can...(I mean this in the best way) kinda grow a bit of a backbone and help kill the monsters because not gonna lie it kinda got annoying just seeing him standing there...even Sui is stronger than him, now for Fel I really hope he actually cares for Mukohda as a person and not only for his cooking because if he only love him for his cooking(his food looks amazing btw) that'll kinda tick me off a little. Sui has nothing to change because Sweet Slime ~w~
"Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi is an anime that will leave your mouth watering and your heart full. The animation style is not only nostalgic, but also visually stunning, bringing the dishes to life in a way that will make you want to reach into the screen and taste them. The journey of adventure and the bonds formed along the way are all the more enjoyable when paired with the mouth-watering and delicious food that is central to the story. The main character, a culinary genius, brings a sense of warmth and comfort as he shares his dishes and skills with those around him. The added elements of danger and mystery add an extra layer of excitement to the series. Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi is not just an anime, it's an experience for your senses, where the beauty of food is at the forefront and will keep you engaged and wanting more."
As the title of the show suggests, it's a show mainly about cooking. But that doesnt take away from the usual adventure RPG-like theme isekai anime generally have. There are battles, but they dont drag on. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean the battles aren't fun to watch.
Is this harem? Nope.
Is this ecchi? Nope.
Is it violent? Has blood and death (they have to hunt food), but I would not describe it as gory.
Is it a romance anime? Nope. (I dont know if Season 2 has any romance) Is the story completed? As of writing this, the manga is still ongoing. Season 2 is still awaiting green light.
If you want to experience a chill adventure show, look no further! It's the first show I've grown to love so much that I went here to create an account just to give it a 10/10 rating in hopes to see a Season 2 in the near future. I usually don't care.

Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill (aka Hero Skill: Online Supermarket) is a delightful twist on the isekai formula that doesn't rely on epic battles or grand prophecies to hold your attention-it wins you over with food, charm, and a low-stakes, comfy vibe.
Rather than a sword-wielding savior, the protagonist uses his unique ability to buy modern Japanese groceries in a fantasy world. It's absurd... and it works. The show thrives on its laid-back tone, humorous character interactions, and the unexpectedly detailed food animation. Watching fantasy creatures go wild over teriyaki chicken and pudding is oddly satisfying.
Fel is a scene-stealer, and the chemistry between him and the main character adds a cozy, slice-of-life energy that's rare in the genre.
That said, the series lacks real dramatic tension, and some episodes feel repetitive in structure. Viewers expecting high-stakes action or deep worldbuilding may be disappointed.
It's a wholesome and original isekai that leans into culinary charm over combat-great for fans of relaxing fantasy adventures.

With this wonderful anime not getting much press, it almost slipped by me.
It didn't even take half an episode before I was hooked. Usually you have to watch a few episodes to get to know the characters and story, but this one was entertaining form the first second on.
The animation was good, but nothing to be wowed by. The writing however was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing about it.
Funny, moderate action, adorable characters and it successfully pulled off the "foodie" genre as well.
It doesn't cross into the "mature audience" zone either, so kids can watch it too.
Don't let this year go by without watching this wonderful. Anime.
