"Not even" is funny and spontaneous. As a migrant who has lived in Wellington NZ it was lovely to see the city on the screen. Manu, gave me some laughs.
I think that the characters are well thought out and relatable. I would like to see more of the beatboxing guy from the first episode.
The scene from episode 2 with Henare and his sister was one of my favourites of the series - the moment where Henare has to awkwardly manoeuvre himself out of the comically tiny booth past Ma was absolute perfection.
We need more TV shows that are like this that are funny and show some Maori content in a real, day-to-day 21st century context.
