Season 1 was not bad, decent plot and action, okay characters, not great acting.
Season 2 episode 1 is decent plot and action, unlikeable characters, and really, really terrible acting. Like really bad. It's like the actors are reciting lines they had just memorized. You can pretty much hear where the script says "pause to be cut off/interrupted" and it is so, so cringe. There's no feeling of dialogue, they're just reciting lines at each other. Reference the scene towards the end of the episode with the President talking about fInDinG PeTeR if you want to see what I mean.
The Night Action handler lady is also a very lamentable addition to the show, as she is very, very unlikeably written. Her character's premise is basically "I don't like the main character and I am right not to"? The actress has also so far had 1 facial expression through 10-15 minutes of screen time, and it's a perpetual scowl. Maybe there's some redemption for how unlikeable she is later in the season but I'm honestly not going to stick around to find out.
Disappointing.

I was looking forward to the new season, but Peter doesn't seem to have grown at all from last season. He runs weird as well (not sure if I noticed that last season) and the action isn't very well done.
I think bringing Rose into the show with her access with her new platform is ok. However, thinking that the government doesn't already have something similar is a bit naive.
I'm not sure why my review needs to be 600 words, but overall the episode wasn't very good. The storyline seems to be a bit of a rehash of last season (possible traitor.) I'm hopeful for the rest of the season, but this episode doesn't make me think it's going to be great.

It's a good episode, but I can't be the only one that has the Bourne Identity/Mission Impossible vibes.
A roague agent that the government is searching for because they think he is a traitor giving away secrets. I really enjoyed season 1, so I plan on continuing to watch.
I don't really have much else to say about it but IMDb makes me write out too many characters so I have another 213 characters I have to waste energy typing.
If you haven't watch the show yet, it's a good start to season two. If you haven't watched the series yet, it's a good series, go back and start at season 1. Only nine characters left. Done.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that my wife and I would definitely be better night agents than Peter. Everything from this "covert agent" ridiculously following behind a mark and the mark not even checking behind him to so many ridiculous starts and stops. The premise of a "night agent" is already ridiculous and the previous season was borderline believable even in intrigue fiction, but this season is definitely not starting out on a good note.
Why everyone in the previous season, continuing on into the premise of everyone this season not being on Peter's side makes for a contrived sub plot. The guy saved the president, I think he's earned some street cred. The good news is episode two has nowhere to go but up.

The first and second episode was a tell tale sign of what is coming. There is no way that there is no discussion about how Rose led them to him Peter. And of cause the premise had to be set where she was told that she is not part of the spy world not family and do not know how it works. It was predictable. I mean by now she should be aware of the spy world. If it is action you are after by all means but if you are looking for the same intrigue of the first season you can give this a miss. The chemistry between Rose and Peter somehow got lost or stayed in season one. I was excited for this season but got defeated in episode 2.

- TriviaThe Q56 bus is a real bus that runs on Jamaica Avenue and the pizza place is a real and active pizza place called Alfie's that's well known to Queens residents.
- ErroresWhen Peter is waiting for Warren Stocker to appear (at about 9.00 p.m., as arranged earlier), his watch shows '9:06' but it is clearly set to 24 h display, not a.m./p.m., so it should have shown '21:06'.
