Ryan Wirick's follow-up work, "Farmacy of Light", is a riveting and engaging film of great importance. While our population continues to explode along with the depletion of our resources it' easy to lose touch with what our bodies need for healthy sustenance- this filmmaker continues to make a contribution to society through his artistic work. A must see.
Ryan continues to create films that impact society. Ryan's previous film which premiered at AmDocs, "The Need To Grow" subsequently screened at numerous festivals around the world and make huge inroads into the understanding of what makes good food. His latest, "Farmacy of Light" is the essential follow-up and should be mandatory watching for all of us who believe in a healthier lifestyle.

Farmacy of Light isn't just another wellness documentary, it's a wake-up call.
As someone who works in functional medicine and sees clients every day struggling with burnout, gut issues, hormonal chaos, and low energy... this film put words (and visuals) to something I've known in my bones: we are overfed and deeply undernourished.
What blew me away is how it goes beyond the usual "eat organic" message. It dives into quantum biology, biophotons, and how food grown in living, regenerative soil carries light-actual light-that our bodies need to heal.
Erik Cutter and the team are doing something radical but simple: growing food that supports life at the cellular level. And Ryan Wirick, the director (who I had the chance to meet-amazing guy), captures it all with heart and clarity.
This is the kind of film that shifts perspective. It validates the work I do. It inspires me to double down on teaching people how to refuel properly.
Highly recommend for anyone who's tired of Band-Aid solutions and wants to understand what healing really starts with.

I have always been an advocate for healthy eating and the Slow Food movement. Seeing Farmacy of Light really opened up my eyes to how foods can taste good and be grown even healthier for us!
Ryan has captured an important role for agriculture to play in our overall health. While the farms in the movie were small scale, the concepts can be employed on larger farms with equal success if farmers are taught the benefits.
Every physician, nutritionist and the public needs to see this film to be more informed about how the light and energy in grown foods can be the link to our health and wellness.

Loved this documentary! I was a huge fan of Ryan Wirick's first film, The Need to Grow and watched it many times. I saw the follow up, Farmacy of Light at the film the Palm Springs film Festival and was not disappointed. As a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I see numerous patients with gut problems, autoimmune disease, unexplained fatigue and insomnia. We are a malnourished country and this is such a good reminder how important it is to eat fresh local foods. Most of us are guilty of not prioritizing what we put in our bodies. I have to admit before the I watched this film, I was even out of the habit of nourishing myself properly. I have since been visiting my local farmers market every Sunday, supporting farmers and eating fresh salads daily. I feel fantastic doing it. Thanks for the reminder! Visualizing my food having light has made eating a magical experience again!
