The Strike of an Ifrit! Sanji vs. Queen

Episode 1061 of One Piece is an absolute masterpiece for me that showcases the incredible talents of the animators and directors who brought it to life. From start to finish, this episode is a true feast for the eyes, with stunning animation, dynamic camera work, and to my surprise, decent pacing that kept me on edge the whole episode.

In addition to the animation itself, the direction of this episode is Top-notch! The camera work is masterfully done, using a range of angles and movements to create a sense of energy was done in such a AMAZING way. (ofc expected from Akihiro OTA, THE GOAT) So like I said it is a masterpiece, fully satisfied as a Sanji fan and I can't wait for Zoro vs King, thank you toei 10/10.

They truly did an amazing job on the highlighted fights, like fr they did Sanji vs Queen justice. Have no complains and especially the beginning showing the whole Germa situation again in such a quality too, just wow, the Director, Animator and the ones who flesh out these scenes all deserve a raise. It's crazy to think that a weekly anime can have that much quality and people be still mad about some minor changes from the manga, the build up to the final moment, Queen using his own weapons against him, Sanji's acceptance of his fate allowing him to utterly dominate Queen the entire fight and the finishing touch to know that he would truly never hit a woman, that's the kinda Sanjj we all know and love. 10/10.

From beginning to end, I was drawn in by the episode's top-tier art, animation, music choice, and creative direction choices. This is probably my 2nd favorite episode in Wano so far (behind 1015) because it was top tier in both animation and story. Sanji's story arc from Whole Cake Island had a really emotional and lively ending against an opponent that symbolized what was holding him back. There was about 2 minutes of absolutely beautful fight animation at the end that made this episode so cool. If this was only the beginning for what we will see with Zoro, Law & Kid, and Luffy later on, then I cannot be more excited!

I'm a MAJOR Sanji simp so I'm a little biased but damn did Toei deliver with this one. They somehow surpassed the peak that is 1015. The colors, the animation, the EVERYTHING was PEAK and I've rewatched it a couple times already. The framing was insane and honestly might be the best fight in the series (That's been animated at least). THIS had the type of "filler" that I want to see more of, literally does nothing but elevate the product even further. This is bringing my hope for King of Hell to an all time peak and I cannot contain my excitement for the remaining Wano episodes. I'm so glad I started watching One Piece :)

Great animation and the fight was super good with also good choreography toei really gave us a early Christmas present the blue flames the fighting and execution was good I can't see how people are giving this a one star cause if you are you are just hating cause this is one of the best animation of 2023 so far and amazing fights better animation than demon slayer so far proud of you toei this makes me excited for gear 5 luffy and king of hell zoro keep this up with better anime pacing and the anime will be 11/10 such a good episode Sanjis finishing attack that sent king flying outside onigashima was also animated perfect and beautifully.
