The Magical Red Jewel AKA Tyler Gets Fired

Takes a good set of plots, everything good about internet humour, single-frame easter eggs, and jokes that land every time, and makes an incredible episode. I personally loved the jester and his hat-switching, and the flames as Pim and The Boss were driving into Spamtopia turning into an Adobe Premiere Pro 'Media Not Found' screen.

If I wanted to introduce a friend to Smiling Friends, I would be inclined show them this episode, but at the same time, I would be inclined to show this one to them last because it's so good.

I honestly could say that there's no room for imrovement here. This episode is just so well-made.

Deranged, absurd, and surreal-that's just how I describe the dreams I had last night after watching this episode. I had to watch it again this morning, and it was even better when I noticed all the hidden things they had packed in this episode, which makes the story complete.

It's very impressive how they can cram in everything, and this episode shows that. On the DVD commentary of Season 1, they have a lot of talk about having to rush making background characters, and with all the detail added, this episode might have taken months on background characters alone.

This is a must-watch, especially if you appreciate Newgrounds/Y2K-type animation.

This season has been so good, maybe with one miss, but much bigger highs than season 1, and this is the most hilarious episode yet.

Spamtopia is what you get when you mix LSD test tube vegitable people with DMT genitalia terrorists and give birth to PCP homunculus children who want to suck your brain out with the wide end of a hundred mini vuvusuela. And the side story with the bosses child was the lactaid cherry on top. It gave me a seizure to witness and I feel godlike.

The way this show mixes multiple different animations styles and the occasional surprise live action bit is flawless, and the humor of under-reacting to the lobotomy vomit insanity of the world these characters live in until they're forced to acknowledge their mortality is executed better than any show I've ever watched.

I want the finale and third season now. And it netter be ten consecutive episodes about Charlie's nose.

Honestly, this might have been the worst thing the producers of the show could do. Tyler was beloved by many and added an unprecedented amount of depth to the show, only to be fired in this episode. When Tyler got fired, I immediately broke down into tears and went into a violent rampage, where I smashed my TV screen and vowed never to watch this disgusting garbage show ever again. It's now a shell of its former self without Tyler and will never live up to what it once was. Would give this episode and the overall show a 0/10 if I could and would not recommend it to anyone. R. This is a great episode is a very great animated and the name is a great joke. Tyler only appears 20 seconds and his name is on the chapter the city spamtopia is a great segment and the rules and the great animation for the mrs boss, pim.pim shines a little in the chapter. But the magical red jewel and the end for the chapter is amazing,but the secondary story is what shines, the desperation and the death of the baby is funny and very dark, allan and charlie's fight is like real life.
