I may not understand very much but every time I watch a new episode I get so hyped and excited about what happens next.

There are not many shows that can gather my full attention, but luckily lord of mysteries is a show that does that.

Also this show has one of the most beautiful and gorgeous animation ever that my eyes have seen. I dare you to find just one single frame where the animation is sloppy, I bet you can't.

Another thing is that the background is packed with details and the world truly feels alive.

This is a really good show if you like mystery and a bit of action, although that is not it's main focus.

This thrilling supernatural steampunk mystery starts a bit slow in order to fully develop the world, but then it dives deeply into mystery and supernatural elements.

Overall: The series wastes no time in pulling viewers into its shadowy steampunk world. Thanks to a unique blend of "one shot & full animation" techniques, the donghua maintains a fluid, movie-like quality throughout each episode. It's a bold stylistic choice that elevates the storytelling and reinforces its moody, atmospheric tone.

Yeah, they skipped many things.

However, these things aren't important (klein eating, spending 3 chapters to buy his cane, 3 chapters to buy his house).

Its a premier, so it need to be entertaining.

They did a really good job about the pacing.

If you don't understand anything, don't worry, it was the same, maybe even worse, for us reader.

The animation is really, really good. I think I never saw that before. There is alot of details, in the flowers, for exemple. The song, especially the ending, are incredible too.

As a reader, it's clearly not a disappointment, and I didn't think the animation would be this good.
