From the beginning to the end, Adventure Time Fionna and Cake, has been a perfect and amazing addition to the universe of Adventure Time, from it's beautiful animation, it's wacky characters the amazing story and everything else about it, this is an ending that i can say with confidence... a masterpiece.

I will forever repeat this, Adventure Time will never fail at giving me emotions, ( especially when i watched Together Again ), the way they can shift a story from kid friendly to a story full of depression, suicide, war, love and make you feel so many emotions while giving you these story lines, is something that was done right once, done right twice and done right here too.

I still can't fathom at how the first two episodes were so simple, childish, hilarious and unique and after the third and fourth, it shifts into another amazing and compelling story that teaches us so many things. This whole episode is what i wanted right from the get go, a finale that would blow me away and make me proud again at this universe's creation and that is exactly what i got.

In one single 26 minute sitting, you get the most mindblowing, intense and heartwarming episode Adventure Time has ever produced, connecting everything from the previous episodes and even the flipping finale of the original series together, mixing it with it's own spice and giving you a blast of an ending that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

I'd like to say more, but i feel like i'll ruin the experience if i do, plus, my review on the main page from when the series first released should say enough. Just watch this series and get ready for this amazing ending, i promise, you won't regret it.

Gonna start by saying that i was worried going into this. Adventure Time is truly like no other show, and they could've easily abandoned what made it so special for a wide variety of reasons. But they stuck to the end, with this wonderfully weird, vague, and oddly paced style to make (in my opinion) the best season. With Adventure Time clearly being in the right hands I hope we can get new content far into the future.

That said, one thing at the end was really dumb. Far from ruining the finale (even the very best animated finale has dumb stuff after all), but man they really should've left it out, the plot would've BARELY been affected.

When you told me Fionna and Cake would get their own series on HBO, I was skeptical. Usually, reboots or spin-offs can crash and burn spectacularly, but after 10 episodes and 5 weeks, I can say that this show is an exemplary light in the dim reality that is modern showrunning. Cheers is an amazing example of the culmination of what makes Fionna and Cake work. The world, the characters, the comedy, and the drama makes the whole experience worth it, even to someone who has not seen the original Adventure Time series. Simon's conflict with moving on after Betty was incredible, and the idea of using two new characters that are seemingly non-important to show how their relationship didn't work was genius, and Fionna choosing to fight for the world she already has after detesting it in the beginning was great character development. I really hope we can get a Season 2, and with the writers guild reaching a compromise, this reality seems more and more possible. All in all, Fionna and Cake is what happens when people with bright ideas and care for the source material work on something for the fans, and it gives me hope that this will set a new standard for not only animation going forward, but the entertainment industry as a whole. I also liked the gays.
