To Bring a Smile to One's Face

I don't believe anything can be a 1 star and if you have made it this far into the season you obviously enjoy the show, so why leave a 1 star rating ??

The past 2 episodes have been so cute, seeing the difference in tanjiro's relationships with the hirasha's compared to the young demon slayers, is sooo adorable. I love that now in season 4, we have a great connection with all the characters and these episodes really highlight how important teamwork is. I love also seeing the difference in tanjiro's fighting, as the only person in 113 to defeat 2 upper demons you would except him to be the best even after such injuries. I'm glad that they made this very evident as the minor episodes are just as important as the big fighting scenes as they build up a great journey to show the growth in all characters. I know the last episode is going to be a fantastic one from this season and I can't wait to get there. Loving these cute moments.

As the first three episodes of Demon Slayer season 4 the story writing slows down relentlessly. There is actually none, expect for Muichiro's Hobby. It's all about the unrealistic training, that our main character obviesly nails on the first try. Be brave, focus, try, reach your limits, go over them, same story since the first episode. They know it's useless and boring training with the same story over and over again, so they talk less than 30s about Tanjiro's achievement and filled the episode with some group development. Development of a group that we wont ever see again.

Besides the visuals there is nothing left from the good anime, that we all fell in love with. No character development, no story, no action, no fun, no plot or bigger picture. It's fan service at it's peak. It could have been anything actually.

To be honest this episode is simply unimportant. If you'd miss it you wouldn't lose much information or experience. I see many fans consider it to be wholesome or that it helps character development but I believe being wholesome doesn't add any value when it doesn't help story progress and those character developments are done in a direction which characters are already fully developed.

I can see why it has to be like this; creators have to fit the training arc in a whole season so they have to stretch it as when they enter the next arc there can't be any stop but I wish they would take the writing more serious.
