The success of the film will indeed reflect the current mindset of my compatriots. Moreover, it's imperative to conduct some research before attending the film screening. A deep understanding of current affairs is not only essential but also indispensable. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed the film; it was both engaging and informative. If you, the reader, have been deeply moved by films like Uri, The Kashmir Files, The Kerala Story, and Sardar Udham, then I urge you to catch Article 370 at the next available showing. To conclude, the most striking and heartwarming moment for me was the display of the photograph frame featuring Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Netaji Subash Chandra Bose.

Kudos to the young director and producers! This a masterpiece. Fast paced, well written and brilliantly performed by all actors. The film highlights role played by security forces and bureaucrats in this critical move. Not a single dull moment. The story revolves around security forces deployed in Kashmir. First half focuses on the challenges faced by security forces deployed in Kashmir, the second half shows the meticulous preparation done by bureaucracy and security forces before abrogation of article 370.

Yami has given her career best. Special mention of young director for his debut film, he has directed it like a seasoned one.

Hats off to the director. They have covered all angles around Article 370 - political, legal, economical, social and security - all in 2.5 hours.

Great performances by Yami Gautam, Kiran Karmarkar and Arun Govil. The movie starts around 2015 seperatist insurgency and shows all important events in the valley in timeline upto the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019.

The legal complications and intrepretations on the abrogation which not a lot of people are aware about, are also covered in the film on a surface level.

There are no masala dialogues or songs, and movie is gripping to the end through great acting, screenplay, bgm and direction.

Film Review: Article 370 currently screening in theatres!!

Inspired by true events, this film is about Article 370 in Kashmir, its incorporation, political manipulation & finally its abrogation in August 2019.

Two female protagonists in thick of things are Yami Gautam as a feisty Intelligence Officer Zooni Haksar & Priyamani as Rajeshwari Swaminathan, a determined Deputy Secretary to the PMO.

The abrogation process happens on 2 fronts

• fighting terrorists & separatists on the streets of Kashmir by our army & intelligence agencies
• Diplomatic battles that are fought in Parliament by Politicians.

Both Yami Gautam & Priyamani play characters with totally different personalities with Yami playing an NIA officer with a volatile personality, while Priyamani essays the part of a seasoned bureaucrat with a cool & calm demeanor. Both are brilliant and have aced their parts totally !!

Apart from the protagonists above , Raj Zutshi as the separatist leader Jalal breezes through his role with diabolical zeal . Divya Seth as Mehbooba Mufti , a quiet manipulative politician, Arun Govil as PM Modi, Kiran Karmakar as Amit Shah & Vaibhav Tatwawadi's performances too deserve appreciation.

Direction by Aditya Suhas Jambhale is great, narrative is fast paced and will keep u engrossed all throughout. The first half sets the precedence for the adrenaline rush action that happens in the 2nd half. Some creative liberties have been taken in the end which are justified.

Saw a lot of happy faces while coming out of the cinema hall 🙂. Great watch .. go for it!!

When the trailers for both 'Crakk' and 'Article 370' were released, I wasn't interested in watching either of them. However, my mind was changed after I saw the reviews on social media, with everyone praising the movie. So, I went and watched the movie, and my experience was good. I just want to tell you guys, don't miss the beginning of the movie. Ajay Devgan narrates and briefs everything through a short story. The movie is divided into chapters, with 6 in total, and I loved the 2nd, 3rd, and 6th ones. Chapter 6th gives you goosebumps when Mota Bhai presents the bill. The best part of the movie is the performances. Yami Gautam nailed the role she was portraying. I can easily say this is her best performance to date. Another great aspect of the movie is that it doesn't blame the opposition for the wrongdoings. Whatever your ideologies and political beliefs, keep them aside and go watch the movie.
