Subtitles are an issue. White on light background difficulties. Major headaches.
That being said, it's the closest you're HOPEFULLY EVER going to get to a REAL WAR AND LIVE FOOTAGE.
Absolutely horrid what those poor kids went through.
And yes they were mostly in their teens and 20's.
My sympathies go out to anyone who is devastated by war and its atrocities.
The bravery these survivors went through to keep fighting and run for safety. All footage is real from cell phones gathered and footage given.
Absolutely NO FAKE SCENES!
My deepest sympathies to those who were slaughtered and especially those who didn't die immediately and were taken hostage. I will remember this film forever.

A must see to understand what radical religion and ideology is capable of doing. Most people don't know what happened and should watch this. Great way to depict it and very emotional. Many people say that there is no context, this documentary has all the context it needs. It is about radical ideology with concrete videos showing true intentions. This is purely about the massacre that took place in a music festival with innocent victims with no political bias. This documentary should be watched by anyone discussing current events in the Middle East today. Very emotional and very graphic depictions of what happened.
This documentary We Will Dance Again is powerful, impactful, sad, and moving. The testimonies of these poor, brave, innocent people are so compelling. What horrific situations they went through. A festival meant for music, peace, and love ended in the most horrific way. These survivors give hope. They are so resilient. Even with their trauma, they will heal, and they will dance again. A must-watch for everyone. Eye-opener. This documentary is so well done.
The cinematography is stunning, capturing both the beauty of the festival and the grim reality that unfolded. The filmmakers did an exceptional job of blending personal stories with broader reflections on grief, loss, and the power of community. This film transcends mere entertainment; it serves as a poignant reminder of our shared humanity and the strength found in solidarity. Each survivor's story is well narrated, allowing viewers to connect deeply with their traumatic experiences and emotions. Additionally, the incredible dedication of the crew shines through, as they carefully convey the depth of sorrow while reminding us of the enduring spirit of hope and resilience.

This film is almost the first evidence about the October 7th massacre . I thought not to watch
it following my visit to the exhibition which which was so painful I couldn't stop crying., but I had to see it to have all the brutal horrific details in order to dispel the lies and claims of conspiracy.
Some responders claim that the film was one sided, so I need to ask them if also the Holocaust should be presented from the Nazi angle?
Despite the fact that the editing wasn't perfect, especially because the goal was to include as many recordings made by survivors as possible, I am sure that there was no one who watched it and didn't have tears in the eyes, and didn't understand that they are watching one of the worst most evil events in world history! All this despite the utmost attention by the producers to avoid causing more pain to the families of the murdered, raped, and tortured, as well as to the entire population of Israel, traumatized by the events.
I cried and I am crying now too for the 101 hopefully alive hostages who were dragged by the terrorists to their tunnels in Gaza and are undergoing there impossible suffering during more than a year.
This documentary should be viewed by everyone and everywhere, especially by educators, professionals that work with people, students and heads of faculties at the universities, influencers and policemen, because they must understand why they have to do their job with a clear view of what is acceptable and what is simply inhuman evil!

Heartbreaking, breathtaking. Unbelievable.
A must watch.
The movie manages to capture the pure horror, the fear, the moments of despare, along with fragile hope.
The production of the movie did an amazing job. This documentation is crucial. Through this documentary, the people who were silenced forever by the cruel hands of terrorist, will be able to scream forever as a reminder for the lives that once were, for the joy and the love that were brutally taken away, making our world a darker place.
May the hostages return to their homes, the living to rehabilitation and the ones who have passed to a proper berial.
May they rest in peace, and may their families find some comfort.

- TriviaWhen the documentary aired on the BBC 26 September 2024, the network demanded all uses of the words "terrorist" or "terrorism" in reference to Hamas be removed for fear that it could upset or disturb supporters of Palestinian liberation, despite the government of the United Kingdom listing Hamas as a "proscribed terrorist group."
