I pressed play intending to sample the first episode, only to find myself eight episodes deep, watching dawn break outside my window. "Andhera" is not just binge-worthy, it's binge-compelling. A rare piece of genre television that engages both the mind and the senses.

Andhera on prime is a solid pick for me this week series revolves around dark shadow who controls human and their families and whoever comes in their way is been vanished or murdered. The show starts strong-Surveen Chawla steals every scene, and Prajakta Koli holds up alright-but honestly, the rest of the cast feels weak. It's inspired by Stranger Things vibes, and the creepy mood and visuals in early episodes are great. But it slows down, piles on subplots, and ends without a satisfying conclusion. Still, I binge-watched the whole thing in a day. Better than most OTT horror attempts.

The series is an utter waste of time with flawed story and script. Makes no sense. Even couldn't present proper haunting material. At some stage you will feel that even writer isn't able to control the gist of story. No horror or goosebump moments. Couldn't expect such thing from Farhan Akhtar who is a good movie maker.
