One of the great TV series episodes of all time. So many twists and turns, and amazing character interplays. So many layers. They have really nailed it with this one. And a great last scene that I couldn't help laughing out load on. Must see episode, must see series !
Great scenes with all the main and even supporting characters. Tom Hardy is so on point and drives the series. However for me Paddy Constantine is the standout performer, particularly in most recent episodes an actor I have admired for a long time I am hoping his performances in this series gain him extra fans and recognition. Cannot wait for the next episode!

Greetings from Lithuania.
10th episode of "Mobland", "The Beast in Me" was the last episode of season 1. They just announced season 2 so there will be a continuation.
I liked season 1 because episodes were fast paced and entertaining. This is not a great drama by any means, so one shouldn't expect great dept in characters and etc. What it does solidly instead is that keeps you engaged in a mob family "things". There aren't many talking between characters about feelings and etc. Which I do appreciate. There are quite a lot of action, shootouts, bearings, chases and etc. - it earnes the title Mobland.

Wow, this episode was genuinely impressive. The pacing was smooth, and the story built up perfectly to a satisfying ending. It really showed where he stands-loyal, firm, and true to his word. I loved how everything came together in the end, tying up loose ends without feeling rushed. The characters stayed true to themselves, and their development paid off. It gave closure while still hinting at more to come. You can tell a second season is on the horizon, but the finale still felt complete on its own. No major cliffhanger, just a powerful wrap-up that respects the audience. A strong, well-executed finish to a solid season.
Paramount Plus appears to be one of the few streaming services that understand that advertising your shows is perhaps a key to getting people to watch them. So with some fanfare, and an all star cast, "Mobland" arrived in March of this year and has, since then, been one of the few shows that I actually watch on an 'as it drops' basis.
The Harrigan crime family, led by patriarch Conrad (Pierce Brosnan) find themselves at odds with another outfit, when Richie Stevenson's (Geoff Bell) son does not return from a night out with Conrad's grandson Eddie (Anson Boon). Chief peacemaker is Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy), lifelong friend of Conrad's son Kevin (Paddy Considine) and the 'Fixer' of the family. But even he can't anticipate the machinations of the Harrigan's Lady MacBeth, Conrad's wife, Maeve (Helen Mirren).
Despite Guy Ritchie both producing and directing some of this, and the fact that it's in the London gangster scene, tonally this is a little different to the sorts of films and series he generally produces. Despite occasionally being quite funny, it's much more grounded in realism and there aren't the sort of broad characters that he usually favours. That said there are some performances here that you wouldn't exactly describe as subtle. Chief perhaps amongst them is Brosnan, who doesn't get to play the borderline personalities very often, so it's nice (if a bit scary) to see him let loose a bit here. The whole cast are recognisable faces though, including roles for Lara Pulver, Joanne Froggatt, Mandeep Dhillon and Emmett Scanlan - who steals most of the scenes he's in.
So, it's occasionally a bit silly, with its consequence free violence which even sees Harry - who's supposed to be the sensible and levelheaded one - commit several murders that he doesn't always need to. But generally, I found myself enjoying the story and looking forward to coming back each week.
I hope that the cast can come together for a second season.

Ahh! It lived up to my expectations. Great! From start to crazy Conrad's prison power tomcat-walk! Pierce Brosnan is one heck of an actor. Without words, he seemed a little unsure walking out of his cell, and then the walk began. Everyone is on to Maeve, but will the Queen of head games still wreak havoc? Love Kevin's knew found strength-Harry's demeanor. Always Harry's demeanor. I speak of the characters, but the best actors bring these roles to life. The Harrigans start again this time knowing long-buried truths. I can't wait to see what is in store for Eddie and Maeve. What about Seraphina? Hasn't she been a legitimate businesswoman with a clean line of income to mix with the dirty money? Will Jan feel closer to Harry, or will their little "oops" bring them apart? I'd like to see them closer. Is Gina on a mission to save Eddie's soul? I thought Bella was after money, but I suspected her secret. I hope the next season is not too long in coming. Hope I didn't give too much away. These are must-see episodes. I hope it is true that another season of all this cunning and intrigue is being brought to life.
