Siccin 7

Literally without any spoilers, it is a very predictable movie where you expect the events before they happen and this spoils the horror in the movie. Anyway, I would recommend not watching it and watching something fun instead. Because some of the previous parts were a little bit enjoyable, but this part I consider it the worst movie I have seen in my life, without any discussion. That's why I don't recommend it at all, to the point that I recommended the movie to a friend of mine before I watched it, but after I watched it, I told my friend not to watch this movie, that it's not worth wasting time.

I have watched a couple of the "Siccîn" movies, and thus opted to watch part seven as well, as I had the opportunity to do so here in 2025.

Part two was good, but parts four and six not so good. Yeah, I've only seen these movies, but since they are independent of one another, it is okay.

"Siccîn 7", from writer and director Alper Mestçi, was lacking majorly in the storyline department. Sure, there was a narrative, but it was weak and not particularly entertaining. In fact, the movie was more attempting to deliver one jump scare after another more than it was a story-driven movie. And that just grows very boring very quickly.

Needless to say that given my rather limited exposure to the Turkish cinema, then of course I was not familiar with the cast ensemble in this 2024 attempt to make a horror movie. That was actually a good thing, as I enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen. The acting performances were fair enough, but the actors and actresses had precious little material to work with.

Visually then I will say that "Siccîn 7" was actually fair. But the special effects could only do so much to lift up the lacking storyline.

Hardly a movie that I would recommend you to waste 93 minutes on watching. Nor is it a movie that will ever grace my screen a second time.

My rating of writer and director Alper Mestçi's 2024 movie "Siccîn 7" lands on a very generous four out of ten stars.

I think movie is bad or meh but Ceyda Ceren Edis is very beautiful actress. I was going to give it 3 points, but I give it 4 because of the character of Serap. I followed the character Serap on Instagram and will follow her closely from now on. Kocaeli is at university, my other lover is also at university in Kocaeli, so it would be easy for us to meet. There were too many jumpscare scenes, which bothered me a bit because this choice reduced the quality of the movie. The character of Meral is very bad, I wanted to kill her, I wish she had died immediately, I would have been very happy, it felt very good to watch it in the cinema, I wasn't very scared, but the atmosphere was good.

ABSOLUTE MASSACRE OF SUCH A PROFOUND CONCEPT AS A MOVIE, THIS SERIES IS ONLY BEST TILL 4TH PART, JUST GOT BACK FROM WATCHING IT, (AUGUST-13-2024) ITS NOT WORTH INVESTING YOUR TIME! IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE TRAILER FOR IT THEN YOU HAVE SEEN EVERYTHING IN THE MOVIE THERE IS TO SEE. WHOLE MOVIE IS SOLELY BASED ON CHEAP JUMP SCARES AND VERY VERY PREDICTABLE STORY AND ENDING AS WELL, HOWEVER ENDING LEAVES YOU ON A LITTLE BIT OF CLIFFHANGER, THE MAIN HERO STANDING ON THE ROOF AND TALKING TO THE AUDIENCE AS WELL AS RHETORICALLY. AGAIN IT'S NOT SOMETHING THAT IS WORTH GOING ALLL THE WAY TO THE THEATER, ALSO A VERY SLOW BURN STORY WITH NOTHING TO CELEBRATE FOR.

I think this film is more better than my expectation. Both scenario and stars are in acceptable level in comparison with some expensive movies.

The cast delivers solid performances, especially considering the demanding emotional range required in a horror setting. The lead actors convincingly portray fear, desperation, and determination, which helps ground the supernatural elements in a relatable human context. Their reactions to the unfolding horrors are believable, contributing to the overall immersion of the story.

The family dynamics are portrayed with enough depth to elicit empathy from viewers, which raises the stakes of the supernatural terror. The characters' vulnerabilities, past traumas, and interpersonal conflicts add layers to the narrative beyond just a series of frightening events.
