This is single handedly the best sports docuseries I have ever seen.
Opinion: I can't decide whether to hate Jerry or love him.
This should win some awards. I'm a carolina panthers fan and have always longed for this type of history. To be exposed in this way (i'm 30) was breath taking. Bravo to the whole creative team for telling this beautiful and thrilling story.
Opinion: Jimmy Johnson- best to ever do it.

Great content, but how did the sound mix ever pass final edits? At times, you can't hear the dialogue over the music. If not for having subtitles on, I'd have missed 1/2 of what's being said. Otherwise, even this Lions fan enjoyed an in-depth look at the Cowboys, especially the '90s teams from my childhood.
An amazing story told by the people who lived it. I'm old enough to have grown up with the Cowboys of the 70s followed by immense success in the 90s. Love it or hate it the story itself is incredible. It is one of the most intriguing historical dramas in all of sports. They did a great job here. The only issue I can find really is that we want more. There's never enough time to get all the stories in and all the details. The subject matter is so intriguing that I could listen to their stories all day as they dissect different things that we've heard about or maybe saw snippets of as they were occurring. To get the backstory of a lot of these things is so interesting. Hopefully there is enough video left to add an epilogue to all of this so they can give us more someday.
They know they did something right when the only thing we can complain about is that we want more! Well done!

Just finished the 3rd episode & it's 1:48 am ct. I cannot stop watching. Amazing thus far! I'm a die-hard Chicago Bears fan who grew up watching the Bulls & the Cowboys as a Chicago kid in the 90s. I almost forgot how great this team was even though I've always known the end results. Amazing to see that they built this team from nothing into something special.
Ignore the low ratings. Must be anti-Cowboy fans. Shouldn't matter who you are a fan of but I get it, I couldn't watch 5 mins of Aaron Rodgers "Enigma" or whatever it's called, but lets face it, A-Rod is kind of a turd as a person. Similar to Favre. If they were cool, I'd watch it even as a Bears fan but neither are cool guys. Brady's docs are great, but this is the best football doc series I've ever seen & compares to The Last Dance.
Excellent overall editing, music & sound incl. Extremely high & redefined images with sound fx from the field gives this doc great edge. Perfect interviews- not a yawner by any stretch of the imagination. Yes, I do feel like some players are being left out but that's how it goes in these successful documentaries. You gotta watch the sidebars for more from guys like Luc Longley or Toni Kukoc on youtube if you loved "The Last Dance" so I hope the same goes for the Cowboy stars who didn't get their due (at least assuming they don't later having finished 3 episodes).

I'm through Episode 5 so far, and this documentary has it all. It dives deep into the backstory of the Cowboys, with incredible real locker room footage and game highlights from back in the day. Even though you know the final scores, the buildup to each matchup keeps the tension and excitement alive. I love these kinds of documentaries!
This is a high-level sports documentary engaging, authentic, and really well put together. It feels very much in the style of Man in the Arena: Tom Brady, as well as the recent Receiver and Quarterback series. If you're a football fan (or just love great sports storytelling), this is an absolute must-watch.

¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaIn Episode 1, former President George W. Bush, in praising Tom Landry, claims that he "flew fighter jets in World War II." The US did not deploy any jets during World War II, as only Nazi Germany had an operational jet fighter, the Me 262. Tom Landry piloted a B-17 bomber during the war.
