This episode really went off-course and marks, in my opinion, a very poor choice of direction/misdirection for the overall plot. There is really nothing I could spoil regarding this episode that's essential to the plot. It went from building up a crazy and surprising scenario with Paul's murder, to suddenly being about the complicated dynamics of a family that's been torn apart and how love really keeps people together.
All empathy that was built for at least Coop was destroyed. His family sucks - I think the writers thought that this is what the modern broken family looks like, but they really just created some awful and entitled people.

Well, this show turned to hell with this episode.
It builds up momentum, higher, further and now this? Really?
What is wrong with you people? Why do you waste our time, we just want to watch good shows and you make everything repeat all over again, all of the old cliches over and over again. Come on, we get it you want to fill in your screen time but not like this.
It wasn't even a good acting, it had a terrible color science, camera movements and the story, oh damn, there was no story, right, it was like a reality show this one.
I hope you pick up the pace where you left off with ep5 on ep7 or...

I was really enjoying this show until the church scene when the actors desecrate the Eucharist. I don't see what this added to the show or the story line. The writers and staff would never had done this to another religion. Very disappointing.
Apple TV needs to remove this scene from the series. It added nothing to the plot or story line.
Doesn't Apple TV have any respect for Catholics or Christians? What were the actors thinking getting themselves involved in such a disgusting scene? I would love to know exactly where this scene was filmed. Did the staff of the church know this obscene scene was being filmed in their church or were they hoodwinked why the director and Apple TV?
What a disgrace.

The first three or four episodes of this show were great! They hooked me in and I was invested. It made sense that Coop (Jon Hamm's character) would go after these "friends" and neighbors and steal their belongings/ pawn them off. New episode, new house.. and so on. I really enjoyed the voice over when Coop was stealing the different items.
However, All of that drastically changed, and now it's all about the "family" . The ex-wife is a cheater and selfish. The kids suck and are boring. The son honestly has NO PERSONALITY. I don't care about these kids going to school or their personal life. I don't care about the son's music. It is all so lame!
It's boring, it looses the momentum the first three episodes had been building up to.
This episode in my opinion is one of the worst! Completely pointless, Coop is an idiot. The ex-wife is miserable and selfish. The son is basically a no-personality zombie, and the daughter doesn't know what she wants.
Kids in shows suuuuuck lol Especially these boring lame kids haha.

This can't be the writers that gave us the previous episodes. It started off with great promise, but quickly dissolved into a weird "family road trip" to Princeton. Once at Princeton, the not-very-likeable kids went off and did their own dumb things while their parents went off and stupidly relived their college days...in despicable fashion. I was almost embarrassed for their actors by their out of character actions, including shoplifting a small item from a shopkeeper and then engaging in unseemly things in a church pew. Really? The last few minutes got the series back on track, but overall a very disappointing episode. Hopefully, the old writers will return for the rest of the series. Come on, guys... you can do it.
