What a way to play with my emotions. I really did not like the previous episode but this one shows you what's great about this series.

I see that many have already commented on Liza's performance. Rightfully so. I wish I believed that the industry will recognize her work but I highly doubt it, so I just hope she keeps finding work worthy of her talent.

Nevertheless, I wanted to talk about the amazing work of Jon Bernthal as well. It must be amazing to bring a different kind of energy to set. It reminds me of Nathaniel senior in Six Feet Under. Their presence is bittersweet because they're no longer there, and if you started watching this show because you connected with it through your own grief, you can't help but link his character to the emotions of that special person who's no longer here.

He's so damn charming (and handsome)

The Bear season 1 and 2 were amazing. Both visually and story telling. But sadly the first episodes weren't doing it for me.

But when I saw this episode I felt that thrill of watching a "old" episode. The very well thought out story that made me both emotional but also think, in an almost terrifying real way, about my own future.

The story tied beautifully in with past seasons and episodes, and really made this season feel apart of the whole series.

For me it was the best episode of the entire season. Ayo has a real talent for directing and I really hope she will do more. The acting was also on point from the cast.

What a beautifully written, acted, and directed episode. Such an human story that added so much texture to already well developed characters. I'm so touched by the way this story was told. The job search struggle/desire to "find one's passion" continues to get harder as you age; and this is episode. Expressed that In such a lovely, honest, and judgement-free way. It's all too common and relatabl.

This season has been good to date but perhaps not as striking/stand out as season two. But this episode brought back a little more kindness/love/humanity. The stress of the kitchen and running a business can only take us so far. Bravo to all those that contributed to this episode, particularly Liza Colon-Zayas.

I think Ayo Edebiri's directorial debut hit it out of the park. It was an exquisitestory of a regular person, faced with the challenges of competing on a playing field heavily tilted against her. Liza Colón-Zayas' acting - paired with David Zayas as a terrific counterpart - was beautiful, evocative, a shining example of simplicity in authenticity. Jon Bernthal also toned down his star power so I could forget about him as the Punisher, haha. Every performance was equally nuanced, comedic, yet painfully poignant. Also, killer soundtrack and musical choices. Kudos to the cast and crew! Ayo Edebiri is clearly going to be a force in the filmmaking world.

This is such a well-written episode. So glad Tina gets the character development she deserves! It's amazing to see that the three lead female roles (Syd, T and Sugar) are such good characters, not in a feminist, forced way. The choice of music in this episode is yet again perfect. Liza Colón-Zayas is a brilliant actress. I remember how I despised T's character in the first few episodes of season 1. Oh, how things have changed. Jon Bernthal is also great in this. Even though a lot of people don't like the slow pace of season 3, I can still really enjoy it. The character development doesn't feel unearned. You could argue that the Faks get a bit too much screetime this season, but it's really not a big deal at all. More Tina Marrero, please!
