Mean Streets

I saw this movie streaming on Tubi and decided to check it out. Simple plot, an ex-con tries to avoid getting back in the game, while his younger brother tries to grow big in the game. Every character has an agenda in this movie, and it's interesting how all of their agendas get intertwined together. Memorable characters and performances, most notable the 3 lead actors Abens Maurice, Paul Maurice, (I want to guess that they're related, maybe brothers or cousins), and Nino Cimino, who also wrote the script. For a low budget gritty crime drama, it held my attention from beginning to end. I really enjoyed this movie and absolutely recommend it.
