After three long years of eager anticipation, The Next Prince is finally here-and it absolutely lives up to the hype. This brand-new series offers a story that is both emotionally rich and visually stunning. From the very first episode, it's clear that this is not just another drama-it's a refined and passionate production shaped by a dedicated team and remarkable talent.
Episode 1 opens in London, offering a cosmopolitan and elegant introduction that slowly transitions into the beautifully imagined kingdom of Emmaly, where the main story unfolds. This contrast between modern city life and royal tradition adds depth and intrigue to the series' visual identity.
At the center of it all are Zee and NuNew, the powerful acting duo known as ZeeNuNew. Zee plays Charan, a composed and emotionally complex character whose inner strength emerges with quiet intensity. NuNew, in the role of Khanin, brings softness, sincerity, and nuance to every scene. Their chemistry is undeniable and magnetic-each shared glance and moment of silence carries weight. Visually, the series is a triumph. The cinematography highlights the grandeur of Emmaly's royal settings, while London's sleek urban visuals offer a refreshing contrast. Costume and set designs are lavish yet tasteful, creating a believable world that feels grounded in elegance. The musical score, with its subtle orchestral cues, enhances the storytelling without ever overpowering it.
Narratively, The Next Prince strikes a delicate balance between romance and self-discovery. The script flows naturally, offering meaningful dialogue and organic character development. Each moment serves a purpose, building toward what feels like a much larger and emotionally powerful journey.
Special recognition goes to the production team, whose meticulous work brings this world to life. From lighting and sound to cultural details and symbolic imagery, nothing feels accidental. Every element contributes to an immersive viewing experience that resonates long after the screen fades to black.
In conclusion, The Next Prince is not just a series-it's a cinematic event. With ZeeNuNew delivering standout performances, and a production team that clearly values quality over shortcuts, this premiere sets a high bar for what's to come. After three years of waiting, fans can finally celebrate: the crown has arrived, and it shines brilliantly.

Impeccable in ALL aspects. The actings, the plots, the paces, the cinematography, the orchestra, the detailed props...
It's so not those shows which only pr their 18+ scenes with 0 plots (common in Thai bl if ykwim) . The story and the characters have layers, yet not too heavy to watch. You can explore the foreshadows and eastern metaphors, while be intrigued by the sparks of their chemistry.
It's nothing like what we've had in western tv series. Dont be fooled by the cover- the royal family may form in a similar way, but they runs with a different ideology. The storyline give a good portrayal on political intrigue - the treacherous current beneath the peace of the allied families, the distortion and suffer of people covered by resplendent facade of the monarchy.
DEFINITELY BEST BL series in 2025.

A Dive into "The Next Prince": ZeeNunew's Enchanting Royal Romance
"The Next Prince" has recently graced our screens, and it's nothing short of a visual and emotional spectacle, all thanks to the magnetic pairing of Zee and NuNew. Set in the fictional kingdom of Emmaly, the series masterfully blends elements of romance, action, and political intrigue, creating a world that's both captivating and immersive.
The plot follows Prince Kanin, a top - notch international fencer played by NuNew. Kanin has chosen to live away from the palace, far from the throne - inheritance struggle. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when Chalan, a royal guard portrayed by Zee, arrives to bring him back. Chalan, who doubles as a mild - mannered art teacher but is actually a highly skilled swordsman, becomes not only Kanin's protector but also the person with whom he shares a deep - rooted romantic connection as they face countless challenges together.
Zee and NuNew's performances are the heart and soul of the show. NuNew flawlessly captures Kanin's initial rebelliousness, his growth as he accepts his royal destiny, and the vulnerability he shows in his relationship with Chalan. His character's journey from a carefree fencer to a prince ready to claim his throne is both believable and engaging. Zee, on the other hand, brings Chalan to life with his suave demeanor and stoic strength. The chemistry between the two leads is palpable, whether they're engaged in intense sword - fighting sequences or sharing tender, romantic moments.
The production values of "The Next Prince" are also worth commending. The elaborate costumes and opulent set designs transport viewers right into the royal world of Emmaly. The choreography of the sword - fighting scenes is top - notch, adding an exciting layer of action to the story. Additionally, the attention to detail in the show, from the accents of the characters to the historical - fantasy elements, showcases the dedication of the production team.
One of the show's strengths lies in its exploration of themes such as love, loyalty, and self - discovery. Kanin and Chalan's love story unfolds against the backdrop of political turmoil, and their loyalty to each other is tested time and time again. As they navigate the treacherous waters of palace politics, they also learn more about themselves and their true desires.
However, like any series, "The Next Prince" is not without its minor flaws. At times, the pacing can feel a bit uneven, especially when the plot juggles multiple sub - plots simultaneously. Some viewers may also find that certain aspects of the political intrigue could have been more developed for a more in - depth viewing experience.

Zee and NuNew's on - screen magic, combined with a well - crafted plot and high - quality production, make this series a standout in the genre. It has the power to draw you into its world, making you root for Kanin and Chalan every step of the way.

I absolutely love Ep1 of The Next Prince! The visuals and cinematography are stunning and every shot looks like a movie. The production quality is seriously impressive and the atmosphere draws you in from the very first scene.
Zee and Nunew's acting has grown so much since Cutie Pie. There's a deeper emotional range in their performances now. That crying scene? Completely heartbreaking and you can feel every bit of pain and inner conflict.
And let's talk about Zee's action scene, it was seriously epic. He carried so much intensity, control, and physical presence. You could really feel Charan's strength and authority in the way he moved and fought. The choreography was sharp and clean, and Zee nailed every expression! Calm, cold, but deadly.
The only thing I hope for is a little less slow motion in future episodes during action scenes - it looks cool, but sometimes it breaks the tension. A faster pace would make the fights feel even more powerful.
This drama is off to a very strong start. Can't wait for what's next!
