It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere

I've recently started watching other international franchises, Philippines specifically. And comparatively, the way they handle girls picking on each other, for unfair reasons, is such a drastic difference, and it makes this season, borderline unwatchable.

The whole storyline of Kitty, Kween, Alyssa, Pythia, and Soa (from the edit), picking on Nellie, and being over her for having emotions, is in such poor taste. They won't even give her a second to explain herself as to why she's feeling a type of way, just immediately jumping to being offended that she's upset. My issue with this season, and production, is that they're catering to the "mean girls". This episode when Ru came through the walk through, Ru basically backed Kitty up against Nellie, then made fun her for being upset, and then Kitty gave Ru a xenophobic catchphrase for Nellie, that wasn't funny.

It's one thing to have drama on the season. It's another thing for the production of the show to back the distasteful queen, to the extent of making the "victim" in this situation, look like a fool.

Production needs to do better, Bc compared to other producers in charge of drag race franchises. This would NEVER happen. Mama Pao makes sure all the girls are held accountable for their actions every episode, and it makes the best TV moments from the entire franchise. Making the mean girl out to be the "hero" isn't good TV. Point. Blank. Period.

I am CONVINCED that the marketing tactic for this show is rage bait.

Why on earth would they keep in Ru and the girls making Nehellenia say 'Margarita Pizza', they are doing this stuff to NO other queen, it's insensitive and obviously made Nelly uncomfortable.

Not to mention the Kitty S**** Cl*** situation - the strange mistreatment of Nelly, I really don't know why production would include any of this. ( out of touch? )

This may be the FIRST season I stop watching before it is done... and I managed to get through Down Under 3.

I am tempted to contact IMDB HQ to demand they add an option lower than 1 star just so I can rate this season a 0.

Every episode is getting harder to watch than the previous one, the editing is not fari to NONE of the queens, it's making kitty looks like an horrible person when in her season she wasn't that evil, kween kong at this point it's just c*nt because half the things she says are just bullying.

The production is not even trying to hid all the riggories and the edit is showing Alyssa like at the top of the pyramid while the other girls are just under her, idk it's seem pretty clear to me who they wanted to crown at the end of the road.

The storyline is not existing for none of the queens because what would be they? Kitty being a villain to nehellenia while the last one is not achieving anything at the end? Kween kong just bullying her without any make up with her in untucked? Like ok? The show is less organic than ever.

Im so disappointed this season could've been one of the best while we are here.

This cast is great but the judging is really disappointing. Favouritism to next level. It's clear who are the top three queens but for all the wrong reasons. The more we go on with new episodes, the more it's shocking how the producers don't believe in their products, and instead are deciding to push queens that are already internationally known.

I ve been watching Drag Race for long time, and the level of disappointment is worst than what I felt watching Down Under 1, where the judging was also crazy off I AGAIN to favourite queens with a specific fanbase.

I really hope they'll just re-do this season using exactly the same queens but showing a fair judging.

Until this episode I still believed that production was delusional and in their minds the editing would make us agree with them and accept dominance of English native speakers.

Now I think they just laugh in our faces. They know that the franchize is so popular that people will still watch it, regardless how unfair and rigged it is. Rupaul can just choose whoever he likes more, even when they do the worst.

They don't do much favor to the favored queens, though. If they want to push Kitty to the final why to make her look so unlikeable, showing all the rude comments. Her edit is that of a redneck Karen. And I'm sure she had some nice things to say they could show instead. The judges could also put her in the bottom at least once, and save her, even with worse lipsync, justyfing it was funnier. On the other hand Alyssa, except for great runways she was sure able to pay the best designers for, is just meh. There is no growth shown since all stars 2.

They don't do any justice to queens they want to favor. This makes me believe, the producers don't care anymore how the show and drag queens in it will be perceived. They just want our views and money. Greed is destroying this franchize.
