7.5/10 stars It was great to see her greatness, her humour, her uberconfidence, her wit, her vulnerability, her perserverance, her commanding presence. She is that DUDE. I loved the moments with her parents and sister. Their immigrant story raised a great one. She wasn't a cheater like Russell, Bird, Magic, Shaq and Kobe. Surprisingly, the cheater was Penny Taylor, who doesn't get mentioned enough as one of the greats. Sue Bird (my all time favorite) is everywhere! Does she sleep? Is she DT's only friend? Great insight into Russian women's basketball and, as usual, scant insight into Olympic basketball. Overall, I found the episodes informative but disjointed. There always seemed to be something missing or questions left unanswered Episode three had about five different timelines. Who's Bill? I totally forgot about her "scandals." Also, they had a camera crew following her for a year and she didn't know if she was going to retire? 🤔I know they weren't going to follow her for "ONE MORE YEAR! I would love to know what Skylar Diggins thinks of this documentary. For what it was, the documentary was good. Great to see her get her flowers while alive and relevant.

Finally!! A documentary that offers a no holds barred take on one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Even Kobe Bryant thought she was good enough to play in the NBA! He even called her the "white mamba"! Nobody in the NBA or the WNBA comes close to the medals and awards and stats that she has, which is why she has earned so much respect by many of the top players in the NBA. Caitlin Clark is the heir apparent, but even she is gonna have to really pull out all the stops to dethrone Diana in terms of the history books. If you're looking for a Beckham-esque doc series that explores an extraordinary athlete in a humanistic way, in a funny and insightful way, while ensuring that her contribution and achievements to the sport are also celebrated and acknowledged, then this is the series is for you.

This is such a well made documentary. I laughed, I cried and watched in awe. It's honest and heartfelt, without any added dramatization. Understanding Diana's time in Russia shines a light on what so many choose to ignore or explain away about women in American society. This story transcends sport and should be watched by everyone!

Very well done series. I really just wish this was on ESPN instead of Amazon, so it reached more eyes. I had to search to find it because I wanted to see it, but a lot of the more casual basketball fans could learn a lot from this. I've been a huge fan of the WNBA for years and love the new crop of players. Glad to see the hype it's finally getting. Taurasi helped get it there. Legendary swagger.

Unprecedented access to the trailblazer herself. The one who made it okay for generations of girls to be unapologetically interested in sports. She dealt with all of this so Caitlin and Paige could run, and finally we get to hear it - don't be surprised when she tells it with the grit that got her there.
