This episode was one of the best directed episodes this season with the likes of episodes 12 and 19. That elevated the content along with the brilliant voice acting performances from both voice actresses. The tonal shift used with the OST with having scenes with no background music and then picking the right OST for each scene. Showing Yuki Hayashi's brilliance and showing once again why he is one of the best composers in anime.
The animation was fluid when it needed to be especially in Uraraka's moment and the use of imagery and visuals taken from the source material were very well adapted. Once again those thick outlines are the best way to show off these drawings.

Studio bones really went above and beyond for this episode. It had some of the best shots in the series with great artwork, soundtrack and overall just an amazing staff working on this episode that made me very emotional. Toga is my favorite character from mha and to see her story unfold like this was beautiful.
Also uraraka and togas VA put on an AMAZING performance 😭 we need more episodes like this in the future .
I don't want to get ahead of myself but it almost felt like a movie the way this episode was directed.
The character acting was also phenomenal.
Overall I would put this episode as a top 4 in the series .

I was blown away, the voice acting was just phenomenal. Each character's emotions were conveyed so clearly and powerfully, bringing the story to life.
The animation was perfect, with fluid and consistent motion throughout the entire watch. The character acting in the episode was great.
The soundtrack was also absolutely incredible. The music perfectly matched the tone and atmosphere of each scene, adding depth and emotional weight to the action unfolding on screen. Whether it was during quieter, introspective moments or intense battle sequences, the score elevated the visual experience and left me feeling moved and invested in the story.
Overall, I give this episode a well-deserved 10/10. Absolutely incredible.

I've been watching anime for over 15 years. I've watched all sorts of emotional scenes, I've cried so many times. This is the first time in my life i choked on my tears. It is truly a phenomenal episode that I will never forget for as long as I live. The voice actresses (JPN DUB) poured their whole hearts into it. Absolutely wonderful, the sound direction was perfect with the ost for "Let me suck some blood". I wonder if their conclusion will end with the ost "You two are weird".
The fact that both of these characters would not exist without each other, that they were created to complete each other is so beautiful and Horikoshi did such a wonderful job with their dialogue and parallels. Truly, a wonderful episode that in my opinion, was able to dethrone Light fades to rain and the previous episode, as well. This season is honestly so well made and especially well animated that I'm grateful I am able to live in this era and witness it.

This episode means so much to do many people. Check out the other reviews and you'll see. Once again, the writers, artists, directors, animators, recordists, editors, technicians, engineers and actors arrive to show the rest of the world exactly how this job should be done.
So much happens that it's hard to describe without going into spoiler territory (again, see other reviews) but all I can say is that this episode made me very happy. I'm genuinely happier having watched this cathartic emotional powerhouse of a story. Everyone, and I mean everyone, Bi the way, the reason I listed all of those roles above is because I want to stress that the people involved both in the past and future of this franchise should be immensely proud of their work.
It has helped a lot of people and will continue to for the rest of its existence.
Thank you. :~)
