One if not the episode i looked forward the most for this arc.
Masterclass in every aspect.
The speech which engraved the Hero Natsuki Subaru not just in the hearts of those who fought alongside him during the battle of the white whale and the arcbishop of sloth, not just of those close to him he saved in the sanctuary but now of those of the kingdom too and most importantly his own heart, which finally accepted, that he indeed is worthy of being called a hero.
This part made me cry when i read it years ago in the webnovel, yesterday i read the light novel version for the first time to check for differences and to refresh my mind and of course to steel my heart again.
Yet again, the passionate and talented people involved in this project, may god protect those beautiful souls, delivered this story defining moment in the most beautiful way possible and i couldn't help to get emotional again.
Thank you, truly thank you for this adaptation.

The episode is a master class of fiction, and it shows Subaru's growth over the seasons. From his self proclaiming as Emilia's Knight to becoming a true hero and learning to rely on others. This time Subaru declares his name unlike in S1 Ep 13, Subaru stands proud. He knows he's weak and fragile but he's still standing strong and he wants all of Priestella to raise their head up. Subaru has experienced certain death many many times, but he still keeps going. He stands up, he moves forward no matter the circumstance. Back in S1 Ep 18, Subaru got the courage to say to Rem "The man you fell in love with is gonna be the coolest hero there ever was!" We also see Emilia's full belief in her knight Subaru and that she's certain he will come for him and an amazing insert song from Emilia. Subaru inspires the residents of Priestella, to leave this situation all to him. Subaru Natsuki is a true hero, and his growth as a character is shown in each new season of Re:Zero.
One of the best Episodes I watch. The goosebumps, the setting, the environment everything were on mark 😭. The speech was so good I almost shed a tear, as expected of ReZero it surpassed my expectations and yet again I'm surprised.
Subaru's speech was a very powerful highlight that reflected his emotional journey and his resolve to protect those he cares about. Subaru has faced immense challenges, but this speech really showcased how he's grown, not just in strength but in emotional resilience and understanding.
During this moment, he acknowledged his vulnerabilities and past mistakes, showing humility and a deep awareness of his limits. But what made the speech stand out is Subaru's ability to inspire those around him-his words weren't just about his own struggles but serve to uplift his friends, reminding them of the value of perseverance. It's a touching, honest moment where he communicated his determination towards the people in despair keep moving forward and held their head high up despite the odds.
This speech, filled with conviction, added an emotional weight to this episode, reminding us viewers why Subaru is such a great protagonist and a chosen one. It's a moment that fans of the series will likely remember, as it captures the core of Subaru's journey and his drive to face whatever comes next.
Absolute Cinema as they say!

Just like many people already said, this was one of the most important episodes that i waited years to see, and it did for sure deliver.
When i first read this in the Web Novel, the scenario that was created in my head was that of an Heroic speech. But the anime did a 180º of what i had imagined, showing the rather defenseless side of Subaru through Yusuke Kobayashi incredible voice acting.
I would be lying if i said i didn't feel a little bit disappointed that the direction didn't go in the way i thought it was gonna go when i read it years ago. But just because it didn't go the way i wanted it to go, it doesn't mean that it was bad. Despite showing me a completely different perspective of what i had imagined, i think the anime did a perfect job for what they were going for, an emotional speech.
10/10 without a doubt.
