I found that, even though he's annoying and a crybaby, Private Ra In-ho is actually smart. He picked up things quickly and that saved their life couple of times. It's kinda true that hard times reveals your true self; often times, your best self.

We get to see the other side of these soldiers; how they worry about their family, and for Jaeyoon, this zombie outbreak clarifies his wishes for his relationship with Youngjoo.

I find it touching how Youngjoo, that small bean Youngjoo has this urge to protect and look after her big soldier boyfriend from this zombie mess. I wonder if this will get her into trouble, if I were her I would just stay in a safe place until they find the cure and the situation is under control 😭

But like I said, unlikely times clarify many things, and for Youngjoo and Jaeyoon, it was clear that their love for each other was meant to be fought for.

This episode was funny in a very campy way. It's interesting because it can be serious in one moment, funny, romantic, and gruesome all within a few minutes. The acting is superb if you keep in mind that it's supposed to be a zombie romantic comedy series. I don't understand the reviewers slamming this show. It seems a lot of the toxic Kpop fans are purposely hating this show. I would seriously give this series a chance. It's unique and entertaining. Newtopia is a nice change of pace from the usual zombie tropes and the usual Korean kdrama. The attention to details in this series is noticeable.
