Episode #1.5

There's nothing like a rushed friendship created by necessity. It creates that bond that bypasses the early stage of friendship superficially. That what happened in Youngjoo team.

They flock together to survive. They take care of each other to survive; understanding they need each others' help and company to stay insane while the world outside their hiding place is taking life from one another.

What I hate the most is how useless the military men are, they complain and cry like babies. Shut up and pull yourself together!

There's sacrifices at the end of the episode. Like I said, there's nothing as beautiful as friendship that was made in unlikely time. Makes me wonder, will my own compassion surpass my own will to survive when I know the right thing to do is to sacrifice myself?

In EP 5, the story starts to get more intense and dramatic.

Jisoo shows her acting skills.

The character's feelings of confusion, pain, and helplessness are conveyed through her excellent acting.

That makes us feel her pain and root for her throughout.

That further proves that Jisoo can act both comedy and drama realistically.

Many people may come to watch because she is so beautiful.

Especially when she appears at fashion week.

But in terms of singing, dancing, and again in terms of acting, Jisoo never disappoints.

I still hope to see this actress's work for a long time.

There are 3 more episodes left and we will know where this series will take us.

Episode 5 is the best episode so far, and oh boy, it delivers hard. Episodes 1-3 might be a big letdown for those who love the thrill of the zombie genre, as they are mostly filled with comedy, silly jokes, and sarcasm. But when episode 5 hits, the storm finally arrives, and you realize all the comedy was just an introduction to dark drama and tragedy-seen through Youngjoo's eyes as she loses two of her mates. Suddenly, you realize how easily happiness can be robbed from you, and that's when you truly feel the dark side of life. The yellow jacket boy definitely steals the spotlight in this episode, and it's nice to see Jisoo showcase what she does best-portraying Youngjoo's frustration and heartache.

This was, by far, my favorite episode. The story is really picking up speed and starting to get intense. A couple of unexpected scenes really kicked it up a notch. The unpredictable story and situations make this episode so compelling. The various characters are unique and the actors and actresses give outstanding performances. It's so challenging to wait another week for the next episode. After I watch the complete series, I plan on binge watching. I highly recommend giving this series a look see. Newtopia takes the zombie genre to unexpected twists and turns. The cinematography is quite unique and I find it to be quite pleasing.
