Episode #1.6

If it wasn't for Jisoo, Newtopia wouldn't be A hit. All the stuff she has gone through.and I don't want to see any bitter people on here saying I'm wrong cause deep down we all know it's true, she made the drama work with her spectacular acting. And reason I gave it a five is because she done all the work. She has worked very very hard and it proved it in each of episodes.

The most devastating episode so far, where the gore meets with reality, eventually drown the comedy into a bitter hollow. There was no time to mourn for Youngjoo, she had to pick herself up and ready for the next battle: soloing the zombies. What intrigued me in this episode is the 'voices' she heard inside her head. Is she going into trauma? Or.. she's got infected and slowly turn?

There is a bit of heartfelt romance where that one handsome soldier swore to protect that pretty receptionist. Will he get to keep his promise?

There's betrayal. There's also salvation from the unlikely character. That's how survival and morality battles when death is near to someone.

By far the most intriguing episode, next two episodes must provide the clarity. I'm going crazy, can't wait for next episode!

This episode is full of action and is very enjoyable. You can see the story arcs of the main and side characters. Surprisingly, there are emotional moments that are sad, funny, heartening, and disgust. The main characters start out as innocent and naïve but, due to their current circumstances, they're forced to find the will to survive no matter how grotesque. The viewer even sees the really hard decisions people need to make to survive. Against the background of the zombie outbreak, there are some silly and funny moments that provide comedic relief. The camera angles are very unique and provides a thoroughly enjoyable viewing experience.

In this episode, the director shows us the reactions and helplessness of a country and its people in the face of a zombie disaster. It's not just like other zombie shows that focus more on how to defeat the zombies. Youngjoo is truly kind, especially in the scene at the subway station. Honestly, it shocked me. In that moment, comedy and romance were gone, and all that was left was the zombies. The subway station scene is definitely the highlight of this episode, both in terms of special effects and humanity. I was immersed in Jisoo's acting, and her emotional transitions throughout the entire episode. I just want to say, Youngjoo, you did a great job.

Now Newtopia become Newtrauma.

Episode 6 still gives me chills. The train scene where Young Joo thought she had saved the child, only to realize she had actually sacrificed her, was heartbreaking. That moment hit hard, and I couldn't hold back my tears. But what followed was even more intense-Jisoo's acting truly peaked in that scene. The raw emotions, the sheer devastation on her face-it was absolutely incredible. Every detail, from the cinematography to the music, amplified the impact. Now, with only two episodes left, I can't wait to see how the story unfolds. The tension is at an all-time high, and every moment feels crucial. The unpredictability makes it even more thrilling, and I just know the finale will leave a lasting impression. This drama keeps getting better!
