Guillermo Feancella is a real Camaleonic actor, changing so much between characters. He represents how the argetineans are. Amazed!!! I need to see it again and again.

A remarkable hint to the bad reviews, almost all of them, just registered to review THIS movie with one star, and other mediocre film as El Kiosko, with 10 stars, when that film just sold 800 tickets and Homo Argentum have soldout the first weekend, almost 600000 tickets in box office. Thise reviews can´t be trustfull.

Homo Argentum was such a fun surprise. Guillermo Francella is incredible - he slips into each character like it's second nature, and honestly he's the reason the whole thing works. Some parts are hilarious, others make you think, but he keeps it all grounded. Definitely worth watching just for his performance alone.

As an Argentine, I dare say it's undoubtedly a caricature of some characters or similar ones that exist in our society, and perhaps in some form in other countries as well. Just as The Simpsons is a blatant critique of American society, this is a blatant critique of Argentine society, and some people who believe that criticizing one's own is offensive find it offensive and disgusting, and worse. They can do whatever they want. I enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Some of the 16 stories are very good, others not so much, but the overall picture is a good production with good, unobtrusive acting, which is saying something considering the perennial mediocrity of Argentine acting. The scandal some have caused is incomprehensible because the film has nothing inconvenient or controversial. Although it does miss some minimal element that serves as a subtle link between one story and another, and a story that provides an effective closure, a final scene with Francella breaking the fourth wall and seeking the viewer's complicity with her gaze.
