Poor student Da On's tutor Jae Min wants them at the same university. Later, when Da On plans to confess feelings, Jae Min dates Su Hyeon. Seong Hyeon saves Da On from accident, breaking Jae Min's gift watch. They meet again as coworkers.

Jae Min lies about working late when he sees his ex. Da On's father causes a scene for money. His coworkers gossip and upload a video. Jae Min helps the father, and after a heartfelt conversation, Da On stays and confesses her feelings.

Kim Su Hyeon goes to Da On's work place wanting to know when he and Jae Min will be together and if they spent the last night together. Da On finds out Su Hyeon is a Director at his company. Su Hyeon inserts himself into Da On's latest project and insists he report his activities even after hours. When Su Hyeon tries to force Da On into his car, Seong Hyeon takes Da On away to the movies. Eventually, it comes out that there's an agreement between Su Hyeon and Jae Min which involves Da On.

Jae Min and Su Hyeon agree not to date Da On. Su Hyeon regrets the lost time. Jae Min makes his move to get closer to Da On. Ju Seong confesses his feelings, and they continue working together, with Da On taking care of him.

After a confusing kiss, Da On and Seong Hyeon resolve their differences and grow closer. Meanwhile, Jae Min manipulates information, and Su Hyeon harasses Da On and threatens to hurt them both, using his power at work as a weapon.

The truth about Jae Min's plans comes to light. Su Hyeon wants to return to the past with Da On, but he already loves someone else. Before leaving, Su Hyeon reveals dark secrets about Jae Min, leading to a fatal confrontation.

Da On takes Jae Min to the hospital and has a misunderstanding with Seong Hyeon. The next day, Seong Hyeon rejects Da On. At work, rumors of favoritism affect Da On as she prepares for an important presentation.

Jae Min can't accept that Da On rejected him, so he kidnaps him. Seong Hyeon is panicked when he can't reach Da On, so he looks for him with Su Hyeon. Finally, Su Hyeon remembers a place Jae Min could use to hide out, leaving one stabbed.
