The title is quite misleading as it gives the impression we're about to see the many triumphs of violence and plunder Hitler and the Nazi
regime did over the European nations they attacked before and during World War II. In fact, this piece gives us a summary of events that led
to the war, the earliest invasions and attacks, and England's initial response when Churchill takes office and begins his first offences against
the Nazi regime.
A narrator chronicles the events from the end of WWI to the first year of WWII, and he's supported with countless of historic archive
footage, zero input from historians or personalities. Those versed on the topic won't find anything new or anything so worth seeing as it covers
many known topics, already worn out facts. Those who were beginning to learn about WWII or have a curious mind on the topic might find here a
special easy to follow, very informative but quite incomplete as it doesn't cover to the end of the war, though it pinpoints early highlights in
a fine manner.
I thought it was okay, watchable but tiring despite the limited running time. There were two or three facts that I wasn't familiar
and it kept me interested. But the choice of title was very unfortunate, it's almost as if being a celebration on the "conquests" of a
fascist regime, or a way to glorify their acts when there's nothing to be glorified, nothing to be praised when it comes to a murderous
criminal party regime. 6/10.
