Yes, the world is so full of ugliness that I, I assume like most everyone else, need a few minutes a day of beauty crossing their gaze to make life close to tolerable. And I certainly appreciate Miley for providing some of that. If you're the kind of person who watches Miley Cyrus just to add the generous images of her dancing in lingerie and minidresses to your spank bank, this show will not disappoint you. It is definitely visually interesting, from the costuming and makeup to the choreography and sets. But if you are also a fan of Miley the songwriter and performer, this is a noticeable letdown. Part of the problem is that the beauty is already fading at only age 32, both on the outside where the baby fat that originally made her adorable and beautiful has fallen from her face leaving the severe sunken cheeks of a high-society lady in her 40s or 50s, and on the inside, where her smoking habit is drying out her vocal cords and she is starting to sound like Marianne Faithfull but not in a good way. She still has a gorgeous figure, fit for the dancing and the writhing. But the songs in this album lack joy in the presentation, because her face is no longer capable of expressing it. Most of them came out uninteresting and dull, and there were very few opportunities for her to exercise her vocal virtuosity. She's not the "Wrecking Ball" girl anymore, more like a disappointed grown woman with a "wiffle" bat. The best moments were "Every Girl You've Ever Loved" in which she was supported by a sort of rapping narration by supermodel Naomi Campbell, who still has an astonishing figure at 55, which had more melodic life to it than the rest of the show; and "Give Me Love" sung during the closing credits. "Something Beautiful" is not terrible, but it should have been much better musically.
When I started watching this (still in the memory and respect for Wrecking Ball), I was expecting something at least noteworthy. In turn, in very much was, just in the worst way possible. I fully expected to turn to some horrible reviews, just to find that people loved it. Of course they did... why would I expect proper taste in this day and age?
Maybe it's the what's in the water that has devolved her career into a dreary mess of broken dreams? She had all the makings of being the best there ever was, but instead diluted every aspect.
This, I really don't know what you would call it, is now going to be her legacy. That and whatever she is sipping in the background that made her consider this as, "ART".

Something Beautiful is an immaculate presentation from start to finish. Vivid and vibrant emotions are felt when you see the visuals she paired with each song and how she strung each song neatly together. You really feel the highs and lows of Miley's life in this, and how she poured her heart and soul in. I felt like I was seeing inside her head, from influences of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, to glimpses of the former Miley of Hannah Montana, and culminating with a finale that I felt was heavily inspired by her Godmother, Dolly Parton, with whom she asked for guidance on advice for this project from the very beginning. If this is what Miley wants to do instead of touring for the rest of her career, I will be buying tickets for the foreseeable future, because I left the theater in awe and singing at the top of my lungs in the middle of the mall.
She's my alternate in another timeline . . . But we're not supposed to exist at the same time, yet here we are, both living in 2025. She's the one, who ran away from him, and now spends years wondering if she gave up her happily ever after and lost the greatest love she's ever known. I'm her alternate. I stayed. I loved him against all odds. I found out. There is No Prince Charming. There is no happily ever after. Prince charming only loves himself. After all the wasted years, I will salvage my Chapter 3 for myself. I wish I could tell my multiverse alternate, Miley, that running from him was the right choice, but then she wouldn't create this masterpiece of a daydream questioning her destiny & heaven itself. Thank you, beautiful Miley for a spine tingling 53 minutes, for the beauty, for the knowledge that you & I have been to heaven and back again. You don't need him. You are perfect. You are loved. 🙏
It was absolutely brilliant and amazing and all about that. I loved every minute of it. Beginning of Something Beautiful (song). Wasn't that interesting, but the rest, especially End Of The World, Walk Of Walk, Every Girl You've Ever Loved and Reborn it was absolute highlight. Naomi Campbell in those shots??? ICON, LEGEND besides Miley I am at lost of words. Honestly, I went to cinema with very low expectations, but Hannah absolutely did above excellent job with that movie. It was amazing. I recommend everybody to go see it. I hope it will be somewhere available for streaming, because I want to see it again.

- TriviaDue to spending most of the budget of the film on archival fashion, the production couldn't afford renting out the Hollywood Walk of Fame to film the music video for the song of the same name, so Miley Cyrus and the production team simply filmed there very late at night, without a permit. Due to the sidewalk being incredibly dirty, Cyrus ended up with a severe knee infection that sent her to the ICU.
- Créditos curiososThe music video for "Give Me Love" plays on the left of the end credits for their entire duration.
