November 22, 1963 was the day of two killings in Dallas. The first is well-known by the world public; the second is only known to a handful of people,
myself included. And in a world of six degrees of separation where everybody is connected through six other figures those two men suffered a tragic death on
the hands of others in what can be considered as a conspiracy.
First man is the American president John F. Kennedy and you know the story even though fragmented
as it and without a proper closure as to who killed him and why. Second man is Roger Craig, a Dallas Deputy Sheriff who was conducting things in Dallas, doing
his job controlling traffic and spotting suspicious people and one of such people was Kennedy's alleged killer Lee Harvey Oswald. This documentary presents
Craig and the events as it happened and as he saw it.
If you were confused by my initial statement, don't be. Craig was a late victim of those events in Dallas and his story is incredible, and it includes
several assassination attempts, one with an exploding car and another time someone shot at him, all happening in the following years of JFK's murder, when of
Craig's TV appearances and interviews with prosecutor Mark Lane, who gather up plenty of new evidence on the Kennedy assassination. And then came 1975, final
year of living of Craig and there's a lot of shady stuff going on of which we don't know about but we can strongly suspect.
An one-man show this movie presents Craig talking about in great detail how he spotted Lee Harvey Oswald in a glimpse of an eye a few meters away
from the book depository, and then recognised him at the precint when the man was detained for questioning, of which he never got out alive a couple of days
later. And Craig also talks about his fiding the weapon that fired against Kennedy and a strange thing happened when some time later when the rifles were
changed.
This is a masterful documentary with a great interview with a very charismatic figure, a man with a sharp memory, recollecting plenty of events both
about the November 22 but also from what happened to him in the following years where his life became a tragedy of sorts. Here's a key witness to major
events, didn't get the credit he needed and deserved (not even included on the Warren report) and was probably killed with the ones trying to cover things
up. You will be amazed with everything you hear in this movie. 10/10.
