The plot seemed so water-thin that I guessed it by the second episode itself. The makers tried to do all kinds of misdirection, yet I don't think they were successful in doing that.

The lead actor (Ms. Pilgaonkar) does a decent job, though. She is believable and plays the character of a cop very well. However, the other characters are too pathetic. I would NOT recommend watching this series at all.

If you're into suspense thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat - this isn't it. "Chhal Kapat" had me more thrilled about my phone notifications than the actual plot. The cast looked as confused as I felt, and the acting made me wonder if they were all part of a long, dramatic prank. I kept hoping someone would say, "Surprise!
