Pitifully bad

ANGEL WARRIORS is a pitiful action adventure movie from mainland China, really a blemish on the careers of everybody involved in it. Collin Chou is the nominal hero but wisely hides behind a wig and beard for half of the running time and has only limited screen time after that. The story involves five women going into the jungle and finding themselves captured by natives, but there's a twist in store. The women are picked for eye candy rather than talent, although you may recognise THE EXPENDABLES 2's Nan Yu among their number. Andy On shows up too. The direction is particularly bad which renders the many fight scenes laughable and headache-inducing rather than fun.
