Magic Mirror

I have to say I'm very happy with this 4th episode, while I do admit that they added quite a bit of scenes that I cant exactly remember from the novel, they still kept it fully true to the world building and plot.

Really happy with how they are animating the more gruesome scenes and transformations, good to know that they're doing the body horror elements in LOTM justice.

I wish we got to see more of Klein acting as a seer, but I'm assuming that'll come in later episodes.

Overall, I'd say that the trajectory of this episode, compared to the previous ones, really gets my hopes up for the rest of the series.

Great visuals, great storytelling, only superficial gripe would be the lack of side character development as of yet.

Pacing: easy to understand - 9/10 Animation: smooth - 9.5/10 Background: cinematic - 10/10.

Through this episode, we can understand a little bit why the Antigonus family's diary fell into the hands of Welch, Naya and Klein. Welch and Naya died because of the curse of the diary, while Klein (Zhou) "luckily survived". Therefore, Klein became the target of the evil organization and Hannas Vincent designed a trap to interrogate Klein about the diary. But thanks to the gray fog, Klein was lucky to avoid the trap and Vincent was killed. Dunn and Klein went to Vincent's house to investigate, Dunn used his ability to see Vincent's memories but saw the projection of the True Creator.

Lord of the Mysteries isn't just a story-it's a meticulously crafted universe that rewards patience, intellect, and attention to detail. As a fan of both the original web novel and any potential adaptation, I'm baffled by the recent surge in *low-effort 1-star reviews* from accounts with no history. Don't be misled, they are just review bombing it.

The world building is insane, it's like no other.

The details and the story inside a story is just godly. It required patience but trust me it's worth it.

The character developments are just holy peak, you will say if they are the main character. And the MC Klein is my fav of all time. Lord of the mysteries is something I spiritually connect with. It's where my emotions lies.

OMG, what an episode. It got covered everything which people were complaining. All since of life scene, beautiful animation, ost . Everything was perfect. It truly deserve a 10/10. Animation is improving every episode.

Although there are still people who knows nothing but to hate by giving one star review. But tbh, i don't even care. It's those who are missing on this . It's there loss not ours.so if you want to try it , try it absolutely. You will love it.

Lastly , there were a lot of complains about pacing. But you will be thrilled to hear that the problem is solved. Episode flowed at a very good flow.

Lord of the mysteries is the perfect and the greatest novel I ever read in my life. The donghua adaptation is also very best. It's the peak of a peak story I ever read. The amount of details, information, the storybuilding, the power level, the main character, the side characters, their building, the concept all the story is peak. Sometimes I think of it really is written by a human hand, trust me oncetoy read both books you'll think so too. Fir me it's an emotion I could never let go of.

It was just review bombed from 9.6 to lower 9.1 it is a complete 10/10 please anyone who sees a 1 star review bombing , you should report it.
