This documentary is raw, emotional, and beautifully made. It shows Dom's journey from 2021 to his release of "Idols" in such an honest way, giving a deeper look than social media ever could.
I brought my grandmother, who isn't into his music at all. She only came to spend time with me, but by the end she had shed a few tears and finally understood why he means so much to me. That alone made the film more special for.
While yes, she wasn't a fan of the nudity or smoking, the bigger message touched her deeply. That's the power of Dom-he can find some way that connects across generations and shows the real heart and person behind his music...

As a long-time fan of Yungblud, my expectations walking into this film were already sky-high - and somehow, it still managed to blow them out of the water. This is not just a documentary; it's an emotional, electric, and unapologetically raw journey into the heart and soul of Dom.
From the opening scenes, there's an intensity that grabs you - not in an overly polished, commercial way, but in a gritty, honest, and deeply personal tone that defines everything Yungblud stands for. The film doesn't just tell his story - it feels it. There's no sugarcoating, no filter, and no false narrative. Just Dom, his chaos, his vulnerability, and his extraordinary creativity.
What makes this film so powerful is that even as a fan, I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew it would be good, but I didn't know the depth of the story it would tell. It gives us a rare behind-the-scenes look at the pressures of rising fame, the pain behind the music, and the relentless passion that fuels him. You understand, more than ever, why legends like Ozzy Osbourne and so many other major artists respect and admire him - Dom lives and breathes for this, and it shows.
The editing and direction are sharp, artistic, and emotionally charged. Visually, it mirrors the chaos and beauty of Yungblud's world. The pacing never drags, the musical moments are electric, and the quiet ones - often just Dom with his thoughts or speaking directly to his fans - are heart-wrenchingly real.
But above all, this film is a love letter to his community. You can feel that his heartbeat is truly his fanbase - a global, messy, beautiful family that's been built on honesty, inclusion, and raw emotion. Every lyric, every scream, every vulnerable moment in the film reflects a deep connection to the people who listen to his music and find themselves in it.
When the credits started to roll, I didn't want it to end. It's rare that a film - especially a music documentary - hits so hard on every level. The Film is more than just a story about an artist. It's a story about what it means to feel everything, to never fake it, and to stand for something real in a world that so often asks you to do the opposite.
An unforgettable, passionate, and deeply human piece of cinema. Wish I could personally thank him for allowing us all to dive deeper into his life and creations.

This film is raw, beautiful, honest. The songs are all so well done. I love that Dom left in the ugly bits that he easily could've asked them to edit out. Even the Berlin cinematography is brilliant. I loved the grainy shots and untraditional ways it was filmed. Can't wait to see it again, and then hopefully own it!
This documentary follows YUNGBLUD through the process of creating and recording each song on his new album "Idols". He talks about the meaning behind each song and what they mean to him as well as the people who have helped him along in his musical career. It's raw, unadulterated, pure creativity in its finest form.
I knew it was going to be good because, come on, it's yungblud!!! But i can't put into words have powerful and beautiful this movie was. It was heartbreaking but so healing, and i know will help people like myself. And we got to see the true dom, and it just made me love him more - which i didn't think was possible! Truly forever my favourite movie ever. 🖤
