I don't even know where to begin without giving away too much, because this film is one of the wildest roller coasters I've seen in a long time. And not just a small one-this is the grandest ride, filled with twists, turns, and upside-down spins that keep you strapped in from start to finish.
Sarah Moliski absolutely shines here. Known so often for her "mean girl" roles, it was refreshing to see her as the lead, carrying such emotional weight. She still gets to bring a touch of her devilish side when the story pivots to revenge, but this time it's layered and powerful. She plays twin sisters separated as children, and when tragedy strikes, one steps into the other's world-setting off a gripping revenge plot that crackles with tension.
Aaron Oberst gives a standout performance as the dangerously charming husband, Damien. He's equal parts magnetic and menacing, and his chemistry with Sarah drives much of the suspense. Anne Carolyn Binette, as Selene, has a pivotal role and holds her own, but the real stars here are Sarah and Aaron, whose performances make the film impossible to look away from.
This movie is packed with betrayal, manipulation, and shocking reveals. I don't want to give any spoilers, because it deserves to be experienced fresh, but trust me-this isn't just a film you watch, it's one you feel.
Sarah proves she's more than ready to move beyond her typecast roles, and Aaron delivers one of his most convincingly evil turns yet. Both elevate this story into something unforgettable. Highly recommended.
