The Adventures of Paula Peril

Valerie Perez is gorgeous and does a nice acting job. The plot is fine and easy to follow. What lacks credibility is when she beats up 5 muscle bound male thugs and a trained martial arts girl in a warehouse. I think the series realized this so in the Serpent Cult, Paula is still beautiful smart and determined but no longer a fighting machine. She is captured by the cult and forced to fight her blonde nemesis Veronica. She starts out ok but soon is thoroughly beaten, dominated and knocked out by her formerly prissy blonde rival. Great realistic fight scene, unlike here. I liked this movie but having her use a little martial arts to beat up six thugs at once is just ridiculous. Getting beaten up by her blonde rival does not diminish her intelligence or resourcefulness but it makes her more believable and vulnerable.
