In short, watching this film is a complete waste of time. I am only writing this review to get something out of it.
In short, the film is a superfluous series of senseless violent scenes. The violence is not even artistically rendered, as in the magnificent excesses of Park Chan-wook's "Old Boy". No, this is just boring brutality. The plot is so shallow that it could be summarised in one sentence. The dialogue is mostly completely unrealistic. The acting is mediocre and the soundtrack is virtually non-existent. Overall, despite all the quick cuts, it's not even suitable for action entertainment. In other words, it's completely pointless.

I'm generously awarding three points because it's not as bad as it could have been, even though there are hints that this series could become even more worse.
I'm not allowed to write what I really think of it here because my criticism would be censored again. All I'll say is that everything runs smoothly and extremely correctly; the narrative seems unrealistically kitschy and sometimes absurdly unworldly. As always with such stories, everything is highly emotionalised. Apart from that, the young main actor, Peter Dager, seems to get through the series with a single facial expression. The sports shots look more like fashion snapshots to promote him, which I personally find rather boring. Overall, the sporting aspect falls far short for me. The story of the child prodigy is lame. The narrative is superficial. There is virtually no soundtrack, or at least it doesn't make an impact.

Wow! The first two episodes are out now and I'm really impressed:
Finally a good crime series again!
The camerawork is superb, the colors realistic and matte, not prettified, but just as dreary and run-down as reality sometimes is. The sound is very well done and plays a major role. The story develops rapidly, at least in the first two episodes, and gives you a desire for more. And so far, the main actors are also absolutely convincing. In short: everything fits here. The mood is a little dark, but there is simply too much going on here to become depressing. We get to see two actually quite likeable petty criminals who are drawn into a story that seems a little too big for them ...
