Zach Cregger basically does the same thing, that he did with the Barbarian, but just slightly better(?). It starts with an interesting plot, then it turns into something that you've probably thought about while watching the movie, but how he turns this story into it it's final form is truly godly. The acting, the cinematography is gorgeous. And the way the movie is built up, is not something we haven't seen before, but it fits so well. Yes it's scary, and yes it can be funny sometimes. Definitely, the movie of the year so far and a must a watch.
Tim Burton's style dosen't always fit to me but I liked Beetlejuice when i saw it back in 2023. Until the screening i watched some of Tim Burton's stuff and they weren't that good as Beetlejuice idk why, so I was worried before Beetlejuice Beetlejuice but luckily I had no reasons for that....
Same craziness as the first one, Michael Keaton still delivers that character and loved that it kept it's own style with the practical effects esepically the sandworm, Willem Dafoe and Monica Belluci were good add-ons to this world and the soundtrack is so fkn good :D.
I had one big problem with the first part and it was that Beetlejuice had 17 minutes of screentime which is crazy btw, but here it felt like they wanted to change on that but with that change the character had less random factor which is the reason I like him. I don't really know how to feel about it, but maybe it's my thing to deal...
So at the end, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has the same vibe as the old one and if u liked it back then, all u can do is to watch it because my man Michael Keaton still has that juice in him.
