As someone who knows NOTHING about the novel or the story, the first episode was a bit rushed and complicated. More and more technical terms came along faster and faster, and I couldn't follow it all. So if a novel fan wants to explain the basics to me, they can add me on DC: tapuliam. I found it hard to follow the whole thing, which is a shame, because it looks really cool, and I can imagine the novel being just as good with all the depth, world-building, economic system, etc. Nevertheless, the animation and vibe were stunning. The episode felt really cinematic, and I'll definitely keep watching.
Once again, we were let down. I really had some hope after Episode 7, but now it's clear: it was false hope. The fight between Arthur and his dad started okay for like a few seconds, but then it turned back into the usual shaky images. It's just disappointing. I think it's over now - I don't believe in this studio anymore.
If the author has any brain cells left (no offense), he has to switch studios after Season 2. There's no way this story can continue like this. I could talk for hours about how bad this adaptation is turning out, especially in terms of animation and colors. It's sad to see such an amazing story treated like this.
The author picked Studio A-CAT just because the producer read the light novels and wanted to give them a chance to grow? Come on, that's not a real reason. A proper manhwa-style adaptation would've been enough. At this point, this might become one of the top 10 worst anime adaptations - not story-wise, but animation-wise. Just truly disappointing.

Bro this Episode was the first enojoyable and the best one so far, guys let them make a Comeback. The animation finally looked smooth, even the short action scene at the beginning was nicely done and fun to watch. Everything felt more alive and less lazy than before. But the best part was the emotional goodbye between Arthur and Tessia. For the first time in the anime, I really felt something. Their bond came through so well, and it made the moment really touching. This is the kind of quality I've been hoping for. Huge shoutout to Studio A-CAT, you're finally on the right path. Please keep this up!
